Hi,
here's a video, slideshow, of my 11 weeks of low carb diet to get into shape for summertime.
I am 5ft 8' and 40 years old.
I don't want to compete, just look good for the beach and the ladies ; )
It's my very first video, so quality might suck a little ;)
UPDATE: 07.08.2013
OK friends, after 2 weeks of just keeping the current shape, I decided to start another transformation.
My goal till mid of october is to get to 7-8% bodyfat.
I am already back to low carb since monday and this time I am going to make a weekly update video.
First video will be filmed on saturday and will be online sunday aftenoon.

here is a little update video from yesterday Aug 14th.
I am showing the groceries for my low carb diet and do a very short posing.

I did not change anything about the gear. I did not take any fatburners.
I changed my nutrition radically. Very Low Carb, high protein and I worked out almost
every day. Very short intense workouts to boost metabolism.

I'd rather not discuss the gear, cause there are people reading this who know me.
I did not use any fat burners. I always worked out pretty late at night and using fat burners always
fucks up my sleep.
The real radical changes where really made in the nutrirtion.

You have a very intelligent and logical approach to BB'ing, with impressive results being the outcome. Most would be advised to follow your example. And at 40 years of age, making it that more impressive. Most give up at that age.
Probably not that radical, just some adjustments that most of us can make, regarding the low carb thing. What was your total carb grams, per day, on this protocol? Short intense workouts are always a good idea, rather than the marathon ones a lot of guys do.
Your English is very good, better than a lot of guy's who post on GB who's native language is English.

Jpm101, my total daily carb intake was about 80-120grams of carb per day.

can You post that picture a little bit bigger? One can hardly recognize anything.
I don't know how You look now, but since You are a competitior, I think You must look very good.

That's interesting, the 80-120 grams per day.
Usually people start at 100 grams a day, and if not losing or slow results, have them drop to 60, which seems to do the trick. A few to 40 grams (women usually), but never lower than that. One cheat day, on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday), but only after being on low carbs for 3 weeks, getting the metabolism to become adjusted (or trained) to the less carb/more fat burning thing. Even when people go off this diet, that tend to continue to lose weight for awhile, because the metabolism is still in that fat burning mode.

You are right. I started with less carbs but lost weight way too fast. I think
my frequent intense workouts helped me to keep my metabolism real high.
I started having cheatmeals after 6 weeks and cheated once per week.
Now I will start cheating in week 2, but will eventually stop in week 6.
I really want to look chiseled after day 60.

@Psychopath I think I take in a littele to many carbs to get into full ketosis. However my insulin level is very low throughout the day.

I show You around in my gym, do some abs workout and do a little posing in the end.

nice job/build,good structure and pretty good shape,lower pecs need some tightening/shape but as u get leaner they 'll get that jagged shape,back and delts are your best bodyparts,,well done..

I think I can add about 5-7lbs of muscle, especially on my legs and arms , till I reach my natural limit.
