I saw him a few months back. I'm sure he trains at LVAC now...why, I don't know. That place is a cruise ship and over crowded....though Gold's has become budget basement with their new $10mo deal.
I will say, having that kid follow him with the camera always laughing and schmoeing it up...is a bit odd. I understand it's for his website or MD, but just have a real video guy do it or set up more structures interviews by the pool...Piana duckface style with a yellow light shining in the camera.

I actually think he wasn't going to step on stage until Shawn Ray and many forums started calling him out saying he was going to come up with an excuse...If no one said a word, he would have bowed out weeks ago. But he felt force to put it together and this is the result we are seeing now. A much smaller Jay who fired his team and brought in his old team to help him save face. EVery wants to see him from the back. Something he's not will to show at this point. At least if he comes in shredded to the bone, he will still get plenty of attention. His whole life he wanted to be bigger. So it must be a mind fukc for him right now. Although I do bust his balls on here, I do hope he's dialed in come game time...

I don't think this has been him changing things up a bit. He just didn't have enough time to get up to size.
He's been behind current pros all year and I think people are only starting to actually accept that. I have found it phenomenal to read posts about him, lately. I watch these MD vids where he barely looks like a pro in clothes (sure, he's getting ready for the show but is kai, phil, ramy, dennis wolf not going to look like a pro in clothes, even at contest weight? no) and these people are still delusionally thinking it's some trick of the camera angle or the fact he's very lean (like the rest of them).

I look at it as Jay is giving the bodybuilding world what it claims to want. A more shredded and balanced physique just like Zane, although not nearly as great or classic. In addition to that, he's playing the psyc game here by wearing a black long sleeved shirt. This makes him look much smaller than he is. The beard/stubble? There to hold back just how lean he is by virtue of hiding his face just enough.
As for Ramy, he's a pig. A big pig, but a pig all the same. And what's with everyone leaning to one side in those pictures? Is there a schmoe with dough on that side and the gravitational pull of the green is heavier? ;D

I remember seeing Mat Duvall and Branch backstage in a pic. Duvall looked so much bigger. On stage he was soft as and looked much smaller.
Jay is fucking ripped. He did this before in the 2004 Arnold and it wasn't the best but Ramy better be in condition to beat him. Which i doubt.

I think you might be correct in that Jay is giving the fans what they always wanted, a more shredded and balanced physique. You're also correct in that his choice of clothing makes him look much slimmer than he actually is.
He might very well start carb-loading very soon and balloon up to the size which most would consider typical of Jay.
This should be an interesting Olympia!

Disagree, OMR, I always respect your observations, but Cutler was absolutely shredded in 2001. Remember this was when everyone thought Coleman was untouchable, if it were not for Coleman's back, I saw Jay winning in 2001; he was out of this world, sure people give his 2009 form the nod, but Jay Cutler was insane 12 years ago, look at the face, same look, just younger-I also recall they tried to bust him for the diuretics use.

He obviously did the diet but as far as work, all we've seen for the last 10 weeks was machine work...Very little free weights. Some say you can do everything you need on machines. While others say it's just a lazy way of working out. King Kamali did 1/4 reps because he was lazy and had to load the bar up so everyone in the gym would think he's stronger than he really was.

Not the way I did it or when I trained others at the national level. Weigh in at noon Thursday and be on stage 7 pm Friday. At 1 pm Thursday start carb load. My favs were baby food sweet potato and applesauce. Carb powder mixed with water. Constant load over the next 24 hours. Sip only water. Nothing after 1 pm Friday. Sip either coffee or red bull. Pop in a Dulcolax laxitive supoository upon waking Friday. Bingo like zero in the gut and you are swole with veins a poppln.
