Title: Meat tenderizer or beauty tool?

A friend of mine bought one recently.  Apparently you roll this thing on your skin  :o to "increase collegen and elastin synthesis."  Seems like you'd have to sterilize it or something before each use?

Anyone heard of this thing?

Fun fact: people use dermarollng on their scalps to grow hair.
