I'd heard a different version of the story; that Harley walked up behind Hogan and slapped him hard on the back, at which point Hogan turned white as a ghost with fear. There'd been rumors for weeks that Harley was planning to show up to the arena with a gun.

I've also never heard the story about Race trying to burn down the ring, but I know he locked the doors to the arena with chains and tried having the power turned off - little stunts like that to throw a wrench into Vince's plans. But, the old man prevailed in the end.

Damn I wish Harley would have had 5 minutes with Vince back then.

Harley was one of the truly baddest men in wrestling history.

Did he do any jail time?  He has tats like my dad and his buddies and a lot of them got theirs in prison.

Not to my knowledge, but I honestly don't know a whole lot about Harley.

Hogan talks about this in his book. he mentions going to the bathroom and getting up without even wiping his ass when Race arrived lol
