Title: Do you think 6ft 200 lbs is small???
Post by: M1 on January 04, 2006, 03:02:09 AM
I weight just over 200 lbs at 6ft, not ripped, but fairly toned, and alot of my friends weight like 170 or 160 at that height, so I'm considered to my college friends. To alot of guys, that big. What do you guys think?

Yeah I know in a hardcore gym thats not big

Do you really have to be a 250 lbs, shredded, juiced up freak to be considered big????????????????

And whats healthier, being a toned, slim 200 lbs, or a 250 lbs juice head????????????

Well I was 6' 200 about 45lbs ago and I would consider it above average if you are very lean.

Actually my boss at the time was the same height at 235 and since I was much leaner people thought I was actually bigger, it's all an illusion.

So the answer, yeah that's pretty big if your under 8%.  Well bigs not really the right word,,  more like respectable...

yeah thats cool. I know what you mean about illusion. My old boss was about 5ft11, and he was 240 lbs and really fat with narrow shoulders. I've got quite broad shoulder and I alot thinner than he him, he was like 48 inch waist, and people thought I was heavier than him...LOL

Girls will typically find you more attractive at 190-210 lean with a muscular build at that height.

I don't know, but I suspect most women found me more attractive at 210 than 250.

I just seemed to get more attention at that weight.

I dont know if its him or not.

Its probably 50/50. I mean, the fact he's not answering isnt a good sign.

6ft 200  ya that's kinda small. My brother doesn't even train and he's 5' 10"  210. I'm around 200 and I'm 5' 5" and I feel small so.......

At 6 ft, maybe 230-240 would  be about right. I mean that would be considered pretty big for a "normal" guy that trains (like 10-12% bodyfat). Someone competing (state level)at that height would have to be a least 230 in shape to even be competitive these days. Beyond that level you'd have to be a lot bigger.  There are a quite few 5' 6"- 5" 7" heavyweights at national level shows just to give u an idea.

Don't sweat it. Just train and be whatever weight you feel comfortable at.

yeah but bro, you're brother is just fat cos he doesn't train, not toned. It's no good being a 250lbs lardass....LOL....I wouldn't say small, to the average person anyway
