Bodybuilding talk radio heats up again on Monday, January 16th as Pro Bodybuilding Weekly welcomes special guest, Chris Cormier. Winner of 11 professional events, Cormier’s outspoken ways often land him at the center of controversy. Hosts Dan Solomon and Bob Cicherillo will also welcome Flex Magazine Senior Writer, Shawn Perine for the one-hour show.

No, that's just what he wanted. On the phone radio conversation. He will love it! I think for this particular show, the producer might want to extend the time to 2 hours because Chris has so many things to bitch about.

I couldn't agree more.
Chris is one of the biggest losers in bodybuilding.
Like Paul Dillet, this person has zero discipline and will power.
He and Paul might have stellar genetics but they are just pathetic losers.
Not to mention that they are both racist card abusers and very unprofessional in their behavior.

I want them to ask him about the six consecutive runner-up finishes at the ASC. Also, I wonder what his training is like right now- whether he is taking the classic seriously this year. It seems it is the only show he really gets prepared for.

Div, as long as you cut the recs out at least 8 weeks out, you are fine. Chris, IMO is just getting older. Plus, he competes a lot which makes it harder for your body to respond. BUT, competing a lot gives you a fat bank acct. If Chris could just do the O, I think you'd see a better CC

Hey Shawn,
Chris sounded pretty upset about your comments on his recent showings. Are you guys still on decent terms? Do you expect him to do your show?

Shawn Perine did a good job in a short amount of time of speaking on a number of things. One being Troy Alves looking insane coming into the IRONMAN PRO. I haven't seen the pics but I've heard the same thing about Troy's prep thus far. One other interesting tid bit will be Federov competing in New York to attempt to requalify for the Olympia.
Another entertaining and informative show. Nice job Dan and Bob.

It is pretty clear that Chris has no real plans beyond bb.
Hey Bob, do you see Chris training at Gold's? I haven't seen him there in a long time. Could be that he trains at odd hours or maybe he trains elsewhere now.
A few years ago I saw him training with Mike Morris and they were both really impressive in terms of strength. When Chris puts his full effort in, he can train with the best of them.

I have no problems with Chris, I had lunch with him last Friday.
That being said, I have never had a problem answering a "Direct" question.
Not everyone wants to hear other people's opinions but when I am asked for mine I speak it like I see it. Some respect that others dont, especially when your not kissing butt.
Chris, like I said has all the potential anyone could ask for but like many before him (Mendenhall, Ledelmeyer, Vic Richards) he never lived up to what "I" thought he was capable of and sabotaged himself time and againbefore the Mr. O with distractions ie: Legal problems, Women, Partying, Recreational Drugs
His focus when it came to doing the business of BBing was always off center and his career on the Mr. Olympia stage reflects that (2 Top 5 Finishes in 11 years).
Dont get it twisted, on an off day he beats some of the BEst in the world but from where I sat and know of him, he should have spent his entire career in the top 5 of the Mr. O battling Ronnie today and not Jay or Dexter.
Will he do my show....if he wants redemption. I dont care one way or the other but the $25,000.00 is going to go to someone who deserves it and that will set that person up for a Mr. O qualification and put them in a nice drivers seat for the NY Pro which is another $20,000.00 Pay Day! Not bad work for 2 weekends of posing.
Now, the choice is his, I wish him all the best, as I know he can win either or both of those shows as we still wait at almost 39 years old for the Real Deal to Show up somewhere......someday.. ....why not Denver in MAY! ;D

many of us have put money in each others pockets over the years with various quest posings, seminars, appearances, TV work, commercials, etc. Shawn has probably put the most money( collectively), in his various seminars, camps, prize money, etc. which always makes me laugh everytime I hear some fool saying "Shawn's only out for Shawn.."blah, blah, blah.....
Keep "looking out for number 1" Shawn...

I guess a lot of "wannabe" pros always have the idea that if we could eat, sleep, train and get paid good money for it, we'd look awesome. Chris is in a great position b/c BBing is his job and he doesn't come in correct. Granted, peaking for one show is hard, much less than 6 or 7. But I swear, if I had 16 weeks, no 8-5 job and CASH, I swear i'd look amazing
