Hello
I started running yesterday and I was planning on doing 5 minutes and walking the rest of the time but I could only do 1 minute before it hurt too much. I did speed walk the rest of the way however.
How long will it take me to get to five minutes? I am just looking for an approximation because I don't think you can know exactly how long it will take. AFter five minutes I am going to increase my time slowly.

If I recall you are a fatso so I reccomend you go to a track ; indoor or outdoor and run the straightaways and walk the curves. It's fun and a great workout that does not require a lot of endurance.
Go with a friend if you can to make it more fun. Do at least 30-40 mins. Then after you lose some decent weight the start running longer minutes.
