Zimbabwe – 100 trillion dollars, 2006

So what will 100 trillion Zimbabwe dollars buy you these days? Well, ...not a whole heckuva lot. When you consider the fact that in order to purchase 3 fresh eggs, your cost would be $4 billlion. FOUR BILLION DOLLARS for 3 eggs!!

Looking at this note merely punctuates for me the true value of FIAT currency. Believe it or not, there was a time when $1 Zimbabwe dollar was considered equal in value to $1 US dollar. Despite the number of zeros on the end on a note, each FIAT currency note, whether $100 dollars or $100 trillion dollars has the same intrinsic value - ZERO!

Immediately after the collapse, average everyday Zimbabweans, in order to pay for the goods & services they and their families needed to survive, panned for gold. GOLD was the only money welcomed by suppliers. If you're young & able bodied, ...you may be able to pan enough gold dust out of a river bed in order to buy food and or fuel. If you are elderly or infirm, ...you die. That is the cruel reality of life after hyper-inflation. Fortunately for some Zimbabweans, they had a thriving illicit market in US Dollars, but these days, not even the Zimbabweans are willing to trade in USD. These days, they're using Chinese Yuan.

Is this one next?   ???

Peter Bernholz, the leading expert on hyperinflation, states unequivocally that “hyperinflation is caused by government budget deficits.” The U.S. budget deficit will end up being upwards of $1.5 trillion, an amount never before seen in history.

Since the Federal Reserve’s creation in 1913, the dollar has lost 98% of its purchasing power.
US government leaders clearly don’t know how – or don’t wish – to keep the currency strong.

Whether the dollar goes to zero or merely becomes a second-class currency in the global arena, the possibility of the greenback being added to the above list grows every day. And this will lead to serious and painful consequences in our standard of living. While money is only one of many problems we’ll have to deal with, you can protect your assets with the one currency that can’t be debased, devalued, or destroyed by irresponsible leaders (no matter how well intentioned).

Don’t be the fool who dismisses this message from history. Use REAL MONEY as your savings vehicle. Any excuse you have now will be meaningless and irrelevant when we enter that fateful period. Make sure you own enough REAL MONEY to make a difference in your portfolio.

Because when it comes to money, ...worthless is not a fun word.  :'(

Yes, make money of initiating fear in people.

There's no reason to live in fear of the truth when solutions to problems abound.
Fear ignorance & lies,  ...and those with the desire to, as well as the power to keep you in a state of ignorance

Ignorance is not bliss. What you don't know CAN & WILL hurt you.

KNOWLEDGE PUT TO USE IS POWER!!!
