Another plant gimmick to tap into the billion dollar "magic pill" business.

Cut down the white rice, turkey tails and corned beef and do more cardio . Spend money on more chicken and fish and limit taro, cook banana and breadfruit

It's not really a gimmick. It's been around for over 20 years. Garcinia Cambogia was just sold under its key extract, hydroxycitric acid (HCA). Remember that HCA was a key ingredient in the original Hydroxycut (hence the name). Garcinia Cambogia was also sold under the name Citrimax.

It works, when taken in high enough doses (1000 mg a serving, 2-3 times daily); but, it's no miracle pill. Diet still needs to be decent.

"works" -- definition: has a highly toxic reaction in vivo which enhances weight loss at a marginal level for a short period of time...

I saw a youtube video of dr oz hyping this shit. Said it helps you lose twice as much fat, blocks future fat storing and converts energy to be used for muscle building. Plus health benefits.

if dr oz endorses it you know that it's totally unproven BS
