So over the years this is my list
Bone chips in my foot
slipped disc in my neck
pulled/tore my right hamstring twice
pulled/tore my left hamstring
pulled/tore my groin {insert gay joke here}
pulled my glute {insert gay joke here}
viral meningitis
and my latest-tore my right bicep
....only one,the slipped disc was done in the gym

Damn buddy, I hope it's not severe.
Normally in these situations, it's customary for the other people involved in the discsussion to list their own injury history, for reasons unknown, as if it would make the original person feel better knowing others were hurt at one point, or make them feel worse, if they are complaining about something not as severe.
But I will refrain until I hear how bad it is.

No surgery if it looks like it's getting better in a week {it already looks a lot better, when it first happened my upper bi disappeared any lower bi looked like it was injected with synthol}
fucking crazy. when the dr in the emergency room saw me he was a total ass and looking for an argument...all he kept saying was "Only people on steroids tear their biceps" he never told me how long it would take to heal. fucker walked out after five minutes and never came back..the nurse came back in and said 'Here's a sling, put it on and go see your dr in a week"...I was like "That's it" ???
online it say 3-6 weeks for recovery, dr never told me!

Major stuff for me:
Torn diaprahgm (diastasis recti) (no idea how, maybe leg press)
2 x separated right shoulder (once from gym/once from softball collision)
Distal clavicle excision surgery on left shoulder for arthritis - last year (need same on right) (just overuse over time)
Fractured left patella (found out six months after - soccer)
One major torn hammy 4 years ago (softball)
Torn right ring finger tendon (football, this year)
Couple concussions
That's it I think.

I don't know man.....it's staring to look better but it's also starting to bruise up.....if it's a choice between having it looked a little fucked up or surgery then I'll choose to leave it alone :-\

guy at my gym works construction and trains hard,pretty big kid .bent down to scrap an oven blew out his bicep rolled up like accordian,surgery right away and the brace is off after 3wks still cant lift for 2-3more months and will take longer to get 100 pct back,his one arm is pretty jacked still the other :-\was shocked to see him smaller like a kids arm..delt/trap everything is smaller..

only injuries ive had were some torn cartilage and broken ribs on my right side, plus the usual shoulder and back pain

Well it's surgery next Friday the 23rd...also gonna look at my labrum while I'm cut open cuz there might also be a tear. :-\

If it makes you feel better, the surgery I'm supposed to have this fall might get moved up. Going in on Wed to see if cortizone can get me through the summer. All pressing movements off the table right now.

doc told me if I didn't have surgery my bi would always look misshaped. might have muscle spasms for the rest of my life and I might never get full strength back
...made the decision easy.

Good luck Clavin,and very smart move getting the sugery.
I`ve seen quite a few guys who didn`t have their torn biceps repaired surgically and it looks fucking terrible.

day of the surgery I get a phone call from dad-"Don't forget your sister is town tonight and we are getting pizza" then in the background I hear my aunt yell "Whats a matter with you? don't you remember he's having surgery today!"...then he goes "Oh yeah I forgot"

Went to the doc yesterday....need to use the sling on my arm for two weeks then another three weeks of recuperation and then golf, gym and softball
BUT!!!!!... I can never lift as heavy as I can ever again! :'(....my labrum was shaved down to take off all the fraying{they said it was pretty bad}so it will always be in danger again,more so now with the use of heavy weights.

In the 32 years that I have been hoisting, I've made every mistake known to man.
The Chiro basically ruled out rotator cuff, which is a relief. He cracked the fuck outta my neck and did acupuncture on my teres minor. Feels a lot better this morning.

It was from training like a retard though, so I feel kind of guilty whenever I look at it.

I've affected my father :(
...CalvinSr went for a standard cataract surgery and somehow a piece of tissue fell behind his retina and now he's wearing an eye patch, cant drive, cant work, and cant lean forward until he has surgery on Tuesday :(

WTF? Same exact thing happened to my mother in law, she goes in on Thursday to get her eye fixed.

...I don't think most people will notice it but there is definitely an indent where the top of the bi meets the shoulder.

....first time busting it around the bases Tuesday night and I felt a little pop :-\...been icing it non stop and no black and blue but really sore and swelling.
