I ran across 3 articles where wrestlers stated they don't like Cena and they are not friends..
I don't think the articles are in character...
So far I read the Rock, bad new Barrett, Alberto del rio.. call out cena ( they don't give out specific info)
Any story's of John Cena playing back stage politics? Being a jerk?

You occasionally see the other side of him come out in his promos.
For awhile he was doing homophobic raps. Definitely not part of the John Cena character.
I caught part of Raw this week. During the Cena/Heyman segment, Cena's comeback to Heyman was to call him "Old and Washed Up." It's almost never cool to insult someone over something over which they have no control, in this case, age. The washed up part just isn't true. Heyman is the Manager of the current WWE champ.
When Brock finally appeared, I found myself viewing him as a Babyface coming to save Paul.
As an aside, Raw needs to cut back to two hours or less. With three hours to kill, the bits drag on endlessly. There's no way I could watch the whole show from start to finish.

I saw the segment, Cenas only saving grace is the fact Vince has demanded he be booked stronger to retain the faith kids have in him. Hence his comeback after Brocks suplex.
Vince's cash cow is the WORST champion ive seen in my lifetime, he has zero redeemable qualities. How i yearn for a return to the attitude era.....

I have a feeling Vince hasn't decided yet.
Going forward, I'd like to see Brock against Jack Swagger. Two high level super-heavyweight amateur wrestlers.
Could be some good stuff.

Id love to see Lesnar absolutely destroy Cena however Vince has many things to ponder right now as finances are tight. If Cena is squashed and his fans lose hope, it could mean less Cena merch coming off the shelves. I just hope to god he doesnt walk out as champ.
Ive a feeling Cena will win by DQ just as he is about to be crowned champion and that is an angle i absolutely hate.

I noticed in the last Raw that Dean Ambrose, who seems to be currently the most over face, is being linked to Cena.
I found it very annoying that they couldn't give Ambrose a chance to shine by himself.
Cena deserves a lot of credit for the run he's had, but he needs to just go away for awhile.

call him what you want , but cena continues to promote and grow the wwe to the best of his ability.... as far as his personality is concerned ,i was working on a tv show and talked to one of the other actors[low level] and he said when he was working on one of the two movies cena was working on that cena came up to everyone in the scene and talked to them and shook their hand, how many upper level guys would do this with their fragile egos.... i'll tell you to quote kanyon ?NOBODY"

Cena cannot fill the shoes of his predacesars period. This is why they cannot draw houses, why WWE has downsized and why they gotta keep bringing back guys like the Rock, Brock, Hogan, HBK (regardless if its just to special guest referee) a retired HHH and now Sting just to sellout a dome at WM. Cena simply cannot do it and everyone is pure fed up of him. He stinks. Read the pinned thread at the top of the board...it says it all.

I don't think they can just go back to attitude era shit. They need their guys to start acting like guys used to act. Where you thought they were legit tough guys and looked like your crazy southern uncle (think Arn Anderson).
These guys now act like how they think a wrestler acts. It's like Korn and Limp Bizkit metal compared to Pantera and Slayer. d

Only thing I will give Cena is the fact that he's tapping Nikki Bella. That's it, that's all. Aside from that he couldn't put on a decent match or draw a house if he was handed a pencil.

I wish I knew in real time what people thought of Hogan in the 80's. As a kid I loved him. As an adult I'd probably see 3 matches and never need to see another.

This to me is when wrestling was at its peak. You had multiple territories, different styles, different personas. Now its all one same style with no originality.

Abdullah the Butcher could stick poker chips between some of the scars on his forehead - used to freak out casino waitresses!
Check out Tom Billington's head sometime. He did a ton of blading in Stampede, and close-up shots in good light reveal a terrain resembling an arial view of the Grand Canyon.

Even the WWF had guys blade up until the AIDS scare of the early 80's.
Sometimes, the guys could just open up cuts from the night or two before to get color because the wounds hadn't time to heal any.

That's just incredible. Amazing how the product has changed so much. I personally was lucky enought to see the eighties boom to the attitude era and now unfortunately....this PG bullshit.
