I've been to a laundry list of 3rd world shitholes since I joined the military in 1991......I always had a rifle and in some cases a tank..or 4 or 18. I used to watch these people in Iraq and A- Stan...USAID..docs without borders.....fucking nuts these people. Heroic I guess but insane.

yup.
You want to do volunteer work and help others? find the local Salvation Army or 1000 other local non profit groups. There's bound to be a soup kitchen somewhere that needs help.

Not heroic at all. They are a bunch of glory whores. Helping the poor unfortunate coloreds is a nice to story to tell their rich friends at the next cocktail party
