Long live Napoleon.

X2. One of the greatest white men to walk this earth. Had it not been for nepotism in choosing his generals, and a few bad choices at this battle, he would've ruled for another 6 years at least. His ideas ushered in many great laws and social changes. Beautiful man without glasses.

Funny how Mother England had all the Scots. Irish and Welsh regiments do a lot of the heavy fighting and dying for her. Without the Celtic influence, Britannia would be far from ruling the waves. or just about any thing else in the world.

Kipling has some great shot stories about that Celtic influence.

Donīt know about now but i remember the Scottish Regiments were definitely feared/respected by the English Regiments. The Black Watch were definitely top of the list. They had a reputation.

It is sad but a lot of the Regiments have gone now or are amalgamated with other Regiments. I worked with some good English regiments too, The Green Howards, Royal Anglians, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, The Light Infantry (2nd Battalion).. all good men.

Why he is considered one of the AntiChrists I don't get. If it were not for him hieroglyphics would never have been translated.

His brother lived not too far from me in NJ, Bordentown, and selling the jewels he stole from Spain. Napoleon's height, commonly thought of as short in stature, was started by the British as part of a smear campaign to discredit his accomplishments as a powerful leader.

No clue why. The dude was one of the first to usher in secularism. He gave rights to the Jews. Those little stars they wore in the camps? Those were around in Napoleons time. He outlawed them. And you're right, he was around 5'6 which wasn't overly short for back then. Dude was an animal.
