Grand opening this Sunday September 20th. The last hardcore gym we had was the Gold's on Flamingo and Sandhill. That closed a 2-3 years ago. This gym will be a hit in this town for sure. I'll be there Sunday. 8)

I'm going down to today to see if I can see anything before it opens. I'll report back. That pick was just a pick to show the inside. Can't say what else is available but I'm guessing it will be similar to his other gyms.

Was bored and watched his movie on Netflix the other day. I think he missed his calling, seems like he would be a good pro wrestler (good on the mic).
Came from nothing, almost died for you bitches,now seems to be doing very well at this stage in his life (58 years old). Better late than never.
Never really watched his YouTube vids (Not a fan of people yelling while lifting, trainees w/ shitty form, etc.)
I dont know, seems like a good dude though I guess. Specially when compared to losers like Genova, Blaha and the rest of the "Fitness Tools".

All the equipment from the Flamingo and sand hill Golds went to Mexico. They sold the entire contents of the gym to them. Was easily the best Golds in town.

Everything, the whole gym. Supposedly the people in Mexico who bought it were going to open a gym/MMA place and wanted it all, every last thing in the gym. A lot of the stuff in that gym was custom made and you couldn't find pieces like them anywhere. Who knows if they were telling the truth but they said they got 100-150k for the entire contents of the gym.

Agreed. He's a motivator, but his knowledge of how the body works is limited, at best, as you can see how he "trains" his clients. Def seems a good dude though. I'm glad for his success.

And that's what a lot of people don't get. He motivates people. And yes, some of those people do need a verbal kick in the pants. He does have the street cred from his powerlifting days. And that something that guys like Piana don't have, they try to manufacture a persona.
