What's even more impressive about that, is that he was probably in his late 30's in that left pic where he weighed 190-200 of skinny/fat with 0 muscle and is in his early 50's in the right pic and apparently weighs 250 and well, it speaks for itself.

I realize that, but that was 15-20 years ago. Other pros who have tried to get big again after a lay-off don't seem to respond quite like Kevin does. He's an anomaly.

Several times, yes. Not to mention I've known and/or trained with many of the biggest bodybuilding stars of the past three decades.
Have had several top pros TELL ME (off the record, as they weren't keen to state in magazines their heavy drug use for competition) they're at their very strongest when in contest prep mode, as well.

Kevin had good back width but he needed alot more density. He lacked density in his bdb pose and his mid and lower back was shallow. That's were he lost to Ronnie.

Ronnie had only become a contender in 1998, although he had started to make a buzz as early as 1995/1996. So, Kevin from 1992 through 1997 was up against the biggest boy, which was Dorian Yates. Nasser only started being taken seriously in 1995/1996? Flex after 1993 wasn't a contender until later on. Shawn was always there. Kevin had multiple opportunities to win in any # of years. He had lost too much weight from 1991 to 1992 and it cost him some places. 1993 he was heavier but still too small for an unexpected beefed up Dorian. 1994 he was catching up in size and 1995 he had arrived, but Dorian had done his homework in 1995, even missing a bicep. 1996 could have been his year, but he came in 240 and depleted. 1997 he was massive and it could have been his year, but Nasser was all the hype and Dorian could not lose in the judges eyes no matter what he brought to the table. Even in 1998 and especially 1999 when Ronnie was arguably at his best Kevin was still huge (more cut in 1999) was still a major contender and imo was better than Flex and especially Cormier. Kevin even had opportunities to take it in the early 2000's. Imo, he was in another league than 6th tier guys like Jay the fridge Gutler and the teenage mutant ninja turtle. Had Kevin showed up with actual size in 2002, he should have taken it, but he was getting smaller by the year and had virtually no lower body anymore. It wasn't in the cards for Kevin, but he had the potential. He just competed in an era with Godlike physiques.

THEY are all big at there peak size/weight.what made haney/ yates/coleman/prime Arnold is when muscle looks like slabs of meat hanging front to side to back all angles and conditioned that's what makes certain guys really standout and win,pics/videos only show part of it.

Hmm, I'll pass. Rubbing alcohol dries out your skin very quickly. If anything, this would make your skin age faster. Plain lukewarm water using a wash cloth and no soap is the way to go. A skiff of coconut oil and you're skin will be soft and wrinkle free.

I still think Kevin's best overall look was his 2nd place in the Olympia at Helsinki, his balance separation and skin that year was the best he ever looked, plus in later years his legs looked a little small for his upper body.

I think Kevin may have suffered the same fate as some of the greats who never won, because they had a hard time peaking just right for the day of competition (Dennis James comes to mind). I mean look at Kevin's pre-contest training/workout pic/videos from the late 90's. He was out of this world. Did he ever bring that exact conditioning and size to the stage on the day? That may be debatable. Still one of the very best ever though and that is not debatable.

In top shape, in the flesh, NO ONE from the era was as impressive as Dorian. I witnessed this first hand.
As well, I stood in front of him as he guest posed about one week after the '94 O, weighing around 285, and he was astounding. A freak in every way. He literally looked like granite.

I think Kevin may have suffered the same fate as some of the greats who never won, because they had a hard time peaking just right for the day of competition (Dennis James comes to mind). I mean look at Kevin's pre-contest training/workout pic/videos from the late 90's. He was out of this world. Did he ever bring that exact conditioning and size to the stage on the day? That may be debatable. Still one of the very best ever though and that is not debatable.
Unlike levrone , Dennis James is a tier 2 bber at best, wasn't like he was going to win anything, maybe some show like the Oklahoma classic or something with 3rd tier pros

What is Kevin's best look? What show? I honestly don't know. I'm gonna guess 95 Olympia, or 96 Arnold. He looked really good in some shows in 97 as well.

Funny you ask ... Without an inch of a lie, I saw Kevin guest pose at the exact same north Toronto gym location within a year of seeing Dorian.
(Saw Louie at this now-gone gym, as well.)
My first thought: Wow, he's not a large structured man.
His frame is slight. He carried a gigantic amount of muscle. He looked amazing.
But not in Dorian's league.

As some here know, I've seen, trained with , etc. some of the biggest and best from bodybuilding.
Put simply, when it's boiled down, Yates is the most inhuman physique I've ever seen.
There have been bigger (more drug bloated), more aesthetic, but ... Dorian was a true freak.
My fave Mr. O is Haney (whom I know), but for what-the-fuck factor, there's Yates. And Yates alone.
In his prime, he didn't appear to be flesh and blood. Just carved granite and modelled sinew.

A " valid comparison "? what did it validate? your bias? I'll agree Kevin owns Dorian in that pose and?? If contests were judged on one pose then Kevin would be the winner. You also claimed Kevin had finally caught up in size to Dorian, if not surpassing him which isn't accurate in the least , bias allowed you to make that claim , so please don't be hypocritical in claiming anyone else is biased when you're guilty yourself.
Dude come on. Dorian won the show, he doesn't need you to defend him. Kevin looks great in the comparison pic posted, if judges were fair and objective Kevin could have won. He didnt. But it doesn't mean he's not as good a bb as Dorian.

Leverone lost size in his later years because his workout principles weren't working no more, for example he works chest and tris, instead of chest and biceps, little things like that which led to his loss of physique! He could learn a thing or 2 from me!

Some of you will never learn! CSWOL has no reason to lie! On top Of that yes it made no sense at all to me because CSWOL show was my creation, and the new format of the show was based upon hiphop element, and I was totally furious Tony and Josh tried to use Kevin Levrone to replace me in my own show! It was a hard time
