i know I'm fat, but I'm working on it. i know I'm not good-looking, can't change that.
but what i can change is that i don't hide behind my computer screen. I'm a real older gentleman, still throwing the heavy ass weights around.

Not looking very healthy, might want to focus on cardio. Stop trying to impress people with how much you can lift. With your stature and extra weight, beet red face comming off of that lift. Heart attack waiting to happen.

I think you are too hard on yourself, my friend. You are very strong, especially for your age and have a good amount of muscle. That is no easy weight for that lift to be hoisting like that.

JIUDO, I don't see your video link but I have a couple of questions for ya ......
I used to live in one of those Venice beachfront apartments when the monthly rent was less than $300 and recently found out that it's four to five times (plus) higher now. It was in that high-rise apartment above the small grocery store that had the painted climber on the side of the building about a 1/2 mile north of the 'pit'.
I assume that you live within or near Venice and might possible know the average monthly residential rental rates now-a-days.
And what is the current monthly membership fee at Gold's and daily workout fee? $60/month I've heard!
I think it used to be around $24 ...... But that was the YEARLY MEMBERSHIP fee!
And what is the present daily rate to lift heavy things in the Pit, (I doubt if it's called that any longer!)
And you're most likely too damn young to remember The German's ... the small Venice Beach restaurant that was always the favorite of the bodybuilding crowd that served a dozen eggs plus a big bowl of fresh strawberries for about $3.50.

Running on a treadmill is easy on the joints.

it was 18 dollars to park next to the paddle board courts. it was only 10 dollars to lift in the pit. they also had steel 45 pound plates. you will never see them again at any of the new gym around.
hell, it was worth 10 bucks just to hear the 45 pound plates clang.

Stunt, I have no idea about apartments, but I was in Venice last year and some some moderate sized homes for sale on block off the beach for a million bucks.
You'd have to think beachside apartments aren't cheap.
But 60/mth for a gym isn't much.

It now costs $25 A DAY to work out at Golds Venice as a guest.

Thanks for the info, but $60 a month and/or $25 a day are a bit much compared to decent gym memberships here in LV for $10 a month with no contract to sign.
A couple of years back there were rumors floating all over this board that Gold's Venice location was purchased by ______???______ and would be closed down.
And the next rumor was that Gold's was too valuable for the local businesses due to the crowd it brought to Veniceand so their lease was extended for an unknown period.
Any new rumors floating around?
I do know the 'usual suspects' so I will make some inquiries today to see just how many of you GetBiggers actually know this shit.

Definitely strong. I'm not trying to tell you what to do but if you dropped some excess weight you would have a lot of muscle and most likely be healthier in general. You would look twice as big lean.
