He used to be viewed as highly intelligent.
During the primary, he would rant at super slow speeds about grain in pyramids and spin these obvious lie parables about his own attempted murder of family and friends. He was obviously zonked out on anti-anxiety, anti-depressants, trying to deal with the pressure.
Well, this morning he was on Morning Joe, begging Trump to mellow out and stay on message, stop stepping in garbage and trying to be funny. And he was brilliant again - speaking very quickly, not trying to be some weird wise man. Rather, being a quick witted pundit with smart opinions on everything and examples to back that up.
