CHICAGO, IL -- Chicago police are questioning several persons of interest after a disturbing video emerged showing several young African-American adults tormenting a young white man who is tied up in a room with duct tape across his mouth. As the alleged captors cut off the man’s clothes they repeatedly call him “Donald Trump.”
Officers found a disoriented male walking down the 3400 block of West Lexington Avenue on Tuesday, Jan. 3. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Later in the afternoon, around 5:26 p.m., officers responded to a battery at a residence in the 3300 block of West Lexington, where police said they found signs of struggle and property damage. Officers were able to link the video to the disoriented man.
Police soon became aware of a social media video showing an adult male being battered and bullied, whom they believe to be the same individual.
The alleged female captor smokes what appears to be a blunt and narrates most of the action on what is believed to be a Facebook live video. The captive man is shown briefly tied up and bound with duct tape. A male captor cuts off the man’s clothing and some of his hair with a knife.
The men make references to “Donald Trump Bitch Ass.” The female comments “my baby sister doesn’t think this is funny.” In the background, another woman’s voice is heard and several male voices hooting and hollering.
Chicago police said in statement that they believe the video to be credible and are questioning several persons of interest in the case. Police also believe the captive man depicted in the video is from a neighboring suburb. He is recovering in the hospital in stable condition.

Unlikely they will get anything close to 25 years. There are reports coming out saying the guy willingly got into the their vehicle (which was stolen) on his own. They then took him to an apartment and assaulted him. Even OJ Simpson who got charged and convicted with criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, assault, and robbery isn't doing 25 years. Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Thursday morning that charges are expected soon against four black suspects. Guglielmi says the suspects made "terrible racist statements" during the attack, but that investigators believe the victim was targeted because he has special needs, not because of his race.
"With the passage of the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr., Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009, the Bureau became authorized to investigate these crimes without this prohibition. Seriously. I'm white and I don't want to see this happen. No extremes are good. Both white and black (and whatever other colour) pride is ridiculous. You should be proud of accomplishments, not what you were born with/without. I have tons of things I'm proud of that I've done, none of which revolve around my race or ethnic background.

Newsom's body was discovered near a set of nearby railroad tracks. He had been bound, blindfolded, gagged, and stripped naked from the waist down. He had been shot in the back of the head, neck, and back, and his body had been set on fire. According to the testimony of the Knox County Acting Medical Examiner, Dr. Darinka Mileusnic-Polchan, at the trial of Eric Boyd, Newsom was sodomized with an object and raped by a person. A Chicago woman involved in a beating of a mentally disabled man that was broadcasted on Facebook Live pleaded guilty Friday to a hate crime and was sentenced to probation for four years.
Brittany Covington, 19, entered her plea in a case that received national attention because it involved an 18-year-old disabled white man and four blacks who taunted him with profanities against white people and now-President Trump. Covington narrated the video of her and three others torturing the man.
The victim disappeared in January and his family said they received text messages from him claiming he was being held hostage. Jordan Hill, one of the four friends charged, picked the victim up at a McDonald’s in Streamwood in a stolen van. Hill and the victim previously knew each other from high school, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. The two reportedly drove around for three days.
The video captured the four suspects taunting him and cutting his clothes after a “play fight” in Covington’s sisters’ apartment. The video showed a wound on top of the victim’s head and him being pushed by one of the attackers. A neighbor threatened to call police which resulted in the four suspects raiding her apartment and stealing her property, police said. The victim was able to escape during that time. Officers found the victim in torn clothing a block away from the apartment.

A Chicago woman involved in a beating of a mentally disabled man that was broadcasted on Facebook Live pleaded guilty Friday to a hate crime and was sentenced to probation for four years.
Brittany Covington, 19, entered her plea in a case that received national attention because it involved an 18-year-old disabled white man and four blacks who taunted him with profanities against white people and now-President Trump. Covington narrated the video of her and three others torturing the man.
The victim disappeared in January and his family said they received text messages from him claiming he was being held hostage. Jordan Hill, one of the four friends charged, picked the victim up at a McDonald’s in Streamwood in a stolen van. Hill and the victim previously knew each other from high school, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. The two reportedly drove around for three days.
The video captured the four suspects taunting him and cutting his clothes after a “play fight” in Covington’s sisters’ apartment. The video showed a wound on top of the victim’s head and him being pushed by one of the attackers. A neighbor threatened to call police which resulted in the four suspects raiding her apartment and stealing her property, police said. The victim was able to escape during that time. Officers found the victim in torn clothing a block away from the apartment.

They kidnapped a mentally disabled kid and tortured him for hours.
They forced him to drink from a toilet.
They cut open his scalp exposing his brain, and put out lit cigarettes on his actual brain. And they streamed it live on the internet to receive accolades from like minded people.
The heinous and brazen nature of this crime, combined with the horrors the victim was forced to endure which cannot but have caused permanent and lasting damage to his body and mind, demand that justice can only be served by a stiff prison sentence. Community service is a wildly inappropriate redress of this crime, and does not serve the interests of Justice.

In order to get a quick & solid conviction, you need to have someone to turn state's evidence. She'll simply testify against the others to nail down the hard convictions. I would honestly say that they are going to get about 20-40 years in prison

The alleged ringleader in the racially charged beating of a teen with mental disabilities last year was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty Thursday to a hate crime.
Jordan Hill, 20, of Carpentersville, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated kidnapping in addition to the hate crime, becoming the third of four defendants to admit wrongdoing. In March he had rejected a similar plea deal calling for the eight-year prison term.
An attorney for the remaining defendant, Tesfaye Cooper, 20, indicated in court Thursday his client is considering a plea deal as well.

They should all be put to sleep. There is a very low probability they will ever be anything but predators. World has enough problems as it is... why take the chance?
