Title: Protein Bar Recommendations
Post by: pestosterone on February 12, 2017, 10:03:29 AM
New job is difficult to eat on a schedule so I keep few protein bars in my briefcase. Winter time and trying to put on size I would use met rx collosals but they are very caloric. I replace 2 meals a day with them and sometimes up to 3 meals. Changed over to FITCRUNCH bars because they are the easiest to eat and the peanut butter ones taste like reeses cups.
Is now time to diet down a bit I know shakes with isolate proteins are the best option for meal replacement when trying to keep calories down, but the shaker cups are a pain in the ass and they ruin my stomach and do nothing for my hunger at all. Versus a bar of any sort will keep hunger away best.
Which protein bars would you recommend? I'm sensitive to carbohydrates so IDE like to limit my carbs all bars seem.to be on the high side of carbs. Most bars usually have a 1:1 ratio of carbs to protein.

Before I get blasted for being lazy I can meal prep and take boiled eggs and chicken and shit. But if there is a good enough product out there to keep me from having to suffer through anymore egg whites, then I'm all ears for any suggestions.I've had decent results using the bars but reaching a point where the diet has to change to get to the conditioning I want to be.

And before you say use shakes! Which i know is better option they leave me so starving and a pain in the ass to mix up dealing with cups and upset stomach. I'll just use real food before shakes.

I really like the Oh yeah! ONE bars the peanut butter pie flavor is my favorite. I also love the syntha6 crisp bars. The different texture of the bars are great. I also love the peanut butter flavor for that too.

Fulfil bars are fairly low carbs/low sugar with reasonable calories. Good variety of flavours too.
