Title: Lee - your opinion on Luke Wood

I saw Luke Wood in Tassie about 6 months ago for a demo and he was looking pretty damn formidable. He's packed on heaps of beef and looks shitloads better than 3 or 4 years ago where he had quite a few weak points, but he still seems a fair way off threatening any of the big-name pros. I know he came in 7th at the New York Pro last year behind Chris Cook and Capriese Murray, but that took some insane conditioning on his part. Do you think he really has what it takes to make it big? I just can't see it happening until he improves his chest, arms and lats by about 10-15%. He's got some massive delts and great quad separation though.

It'd be f-cking awesome if another Aussie came up the pro ranks. He seemed like a really nice bloke and everyone I talk to wants him to make the big time.

Btw Lee I saw you at the seminar at Extreme Physique in Hobart and I have to mention that your back has improved something chronic. I know you were way over contest weight and full of water, but even so it's easy to see how much thicker and wider it's become. I know everyone craps on about your delts and arms (as they should), but I reckon your back will be the topic of conversation over the coming years.

Also, I'm 6'3 and I swear that Lee doesn't seem at all short in person. I don't see how anyone could possibly use his height against him. He's a massive unit, period.

Well not to argue too much about this I have a short friend who called me last wednesday behind lee in the line to get on the plane to LA and he said Lee was quite a bit shorter than he.. so he is pretty short but I doubt he's denying that.  He wouldn't speak to Lee because he was "too huge" though :)

Luke posts here sport, not sure whether he'll notice the post unless you post this in the gossip and opinions section though.

I agree with you about him though, he's got a great attitude too..
