On a serious note, I do not believe that you would rather have a child with Down syndrome than a child with autism. Some on this board may poke fun at my autism, but they know full well that I would beat them on an IQ test, have more formal education than they do, etc. When I went to 16 contests and expos over a four year period, none of them approached me, and I was completely visible. So yeah - talk all you want online, you wouldn't say anything to me in person.
Which brings up another important point - if you had a child with autism, he would likely have higher intelligence than you have at the age of 12. I can tell you that my parents are both annoyed having two autistic sons who are both smarter than them. When I found out that the university fired me over my Facebook posts, it had turned out that they explicitly withheld that information from me, because they knew they had no legal grounds to fire me. My professor gave me her written recommendation to work with me for Calculus II, and I was the top student in my Computational Linear Algebra I course, and had an overall average of 98% that semester, which was the highest in the mathematics department.
The university knew full well that they couldn't legally fire me for "offending" people online [My God - are you SERIOUS? Do you really think you can legally get fired for simply offending someone? Are you dense?]. So what did they do? They decided to go around my back, and explicitly instructed the mathematics department secretary to lie to me about why I was let go. Of course my performance made it clear that there was no legal basis for firing me.

Yeah, because employers have time to look through a person's entire Facebook history. ::) I had literally 7.5 years of "racist" Facebook posts, and Lakehead University still hired me. They don't have time to go through a person's Facebook history. Then a bunch of whining First Nations liaison groups complained about me, and Lakehead covertly fired me, knowing full well if they fired me over my social media posts, I would sue them. In fact, they hid the complaints from me, knowing full well they had no legal basis to fire me. Yes, that's right - dead last. In a contest with five other bench pressers - literally the top five best in the city - I placed dead last. Bench press results varied from 320-lb to 475-lb. The 475-lb was attained by Thunder Bay's Strongest Man himself, Kyle Rayner. Kyle went on to place 9th in Canada that year at Canada's Strongest Man in 2016. It's so sad when you bench a measly 320 against a pack of monsters. But hey, you can't win them all, right?

Take me for example - life is SO ROUGH for me living off millions of dollars of combined cash investments, real estate, and other assets. Could you imagine a life where you get to do whatever you want whenever you want, support all of your children and see them as often as you want to in the most important years of their lives, and have multiple university degrees as a backup plan in case any of that fails?

I'll give you an example - do you remember your excellent post about unions, specifically with respect to their dwindling clout with respect to protecting a person's employment? I LOVED that post, and it literally made my day, haha. If not made my birthday tomorrow too! As if this week hasn't been good enough. Your post was amazing. Unions have gotten away with far too much, and I am thrilled to see them reduce in power across the Western world. Indeed, in Canada, 71% of all union employees are government employees. That means there where possible, unions leave Canada to offshore in China where that is possible. :)
Anyway, one day I was making posts on my friend's Facebook page about how most economists consider unions to be a net negative effect on the economy. My posts were excellent, well-written, and LONG. Then do you know what I realized? That my friend had 200 Facebook friends, and that all of his posts were set to private. Meaning, the only people reading that post were union-loving leftists. It was then that I realized the importance of writing to a decent-sized audience of people - no wasting good posts on small audiences. Why bother?
Likewise - why should I continue writing posts in this thread if it gets moved to the General Topics board? Ron has to balance complaints about me with the views he knows that my posts generate - this is true of "racism" in general on here, as with "controversy" in general on here. Ron knows that controversial posts get read the most. It's a tough position to be in, but at the end of the day, my view counts speak for themselves - same with on YouTube. You should definitely subscribe to that 'Report Of The Week' guy. I've started watching him recently for some strange reason, but he's a genuinely unique and humble individual - a rarity on YouTube. The edited 'meme' videos of him are hilarious too.
That's not simply shitty camera work. It shows you that he's never had to film other people or been in social situations where recording was warranted. Instead, his films are always centered around himself, absent of other human beings, and invariably revolve around inanimate objects or property. As a result, he films scenes as if he's basically talking only to himself, which is why he never considers the POV of his audience, thereby explaining the constant floor footage when he limply drops the camera to his waist as he segues from one narcissistic topic to another. Uncle Junior used to do the exact same thing with his shitty cell phone videos, always filming his face or the sidewalk around him rather than his surroundings; he also had no friends or company in his pathetic vlogs.

Most people don't eat fried food either, unless they have time to use a fryer at home or eat out every day, which few can afford. In other words, there's literally a galaxy's worth of things that can make you overweight besides fried meals. The reason I ask is i am prone to weight gain. If I let down my guard it wouldn't take long to go from a 34" waiste to a 38. On a typical cruise or week at a resort I can easily put on 10 lbs. But as soon as I return home I start watching carbs, reducing my intake of calories and within 10 days to 2 weeks I'm back under control. You talk a lot about fitness but it doesn't appear you are actively involved in it. Is that pretty accurate?

So whats the current weight at? 245-255? BF%? You said you are going into NGA - you dieted down want to be what 185-195? 16 weeks I think is a little overly optimistic to reach that and look decent. Need time for your system to accommodate the weight loss and fill out a little without looking gaunt and gangly.

My body functions best on keto and its what I used for my last show. The biggest issue I have is some medical issues that prevent me from utilizing some of my favorite supplements. Age is also a big factor as well so I'm having to grind out the training routines. But I had been working on things since March to get back into the mix so I'm not taking anything lightly.
Keto works mainly in part because of the general calorie restriction and appetite suppresant abilities, not some miraculous thing to do w eating just fat and protein. Even Dave Palumbo who is the biggest advocate of this says similar things. Its easy diet to follow for people with no self-control.Lol, of course he has to eat in a deficit, but this diet will provide him with more saitiating foods, his blood sugar won't be all of the place, the beef will again provide way more nutrients than any amount of cod, tilapia, orange ruffy, canned tuna, and egg whites. And and top of it, it's less expensive, I know Vince likes to save money.
But if someone who is already fat at say 245 lbs eats 5-6k calories a day of steak and eggs and lard - and needs to lose weight - saying just go keto is not an answer. There has to be calorie restriction at some level.

Yup - but regardless - Vince needs to get his BF% tested. And from there its reality of how long it will take. If he is say 30% BF - at 245lbs. The math is simple - he can safely lose 1.5-2 lbs a week without going catabolic. But again - do the math - even say 25% BF at 245lbs. That is 61lbs of fat or so. So to get to 12.5% by my basic math - he needs at least 15 weeks. Maybe im wrong - but seems like 16 weeks not enough here unless his numbers are a little better currently.

Only setting himself up for humiliation and defeat if he goes for something and doesnt have enough time to get it done in. 16 weeks is not long at all if one has 30+ lbs of lard to burn off and not look like crap at the end of it. If he has say 50-65lbs of fat to lose - then F the damn show - put it off for a year and just focus on getting to say 15-10% BF first - then re-assess. To me - a 12 week diet down for a show should start when you are at 10-12% BF as it is.

Its funny you mention that too - was thinking of this recently. Back in the day when I started training - late 80's - more serious in early 90's - we had really nothing but magazines to go by. And - yes - showing up daily to see what worked. Now with the internet - EVERYTHING is out there - every type of style - every workout - every protocol. Etc

A couple of things about HIIT,
- The required intensity is gone when you perform it for longer than 20-30 minutes.
- Keto & HITT don't go well together, for the same intensity reason
- 1-2 sessions/week are OK, but when you're deep in a prep it messes with your recovery
It's not a matter of 'stop eating', that will fuck up your metabolism, but slowly lowering your calorie intake when needed.
Keep in mind, he's a bodybuilder, NOT a crossfitter, so I would suggest LISS cardio as much as possible. Only perform HIIT when nothing else works.

You burn less fat compared to HIIT, but you also burn less glycogen, so it's more muscle sparing. And yes Vince I would recommend steady state cardio, fasted in the am and post workout, in your target heart range, I wouldn't even start prep unless you have a heart rate monitor.

'An extreme fat loss diet' often results in losing lean body mass. Not that I expect that Vince would ever take advice from any of us, but someone like him should take at least 6-9 months and lose 1-2 pounds/week.

- the car scenes are too frequent. Change your setting or walk around while you talk
- you never respond to the YouTube comments below your videos. You need to interact more with your audience

- do Skype interviews, with video, with other YouTubers, and have more videos where you interact with other people
