The country targets groups of all sorts. Motorcycle groups etc etc
I hate the disenfranchised youth that associate themselves with the antifa movement but I do believe in their freedom to associate in public or otherwise. Dress the way they want to dress. If they are against the full faced clothing then ban the burka as well.
They are a part of society providing and maintaining cheques and balances. They may keep fascists in line to some degree.

Basically Bikies in Australia sell a lot of drugs, and the government here wants to be the only source of drugs ie. cigarettes and alcohol that they can control and tax the shit out of. Which they do so people go to cheaper drugs like Meth/MDMA/Weed and then the country has a Meth Problem which wouldn't be as bad as it was if legal drugs weren't so expensive.
To be fair in Queensland I think they were causing a lot of trouble on streets with fights etc so the government went after them hard however it is the governments fault for making something illegal but has so much demand in the first place so they have their Police go after someone for fulfilling a market created by them for being so fucking stupid.
I didn't know about the fine with Antifa however why should they be fined but a muslim woman can walk around with her face covered and not be fined? It's because 2 of them were bitches who attacked a journalist that the law was probably brought in but can't kiss Muslims ass here then fine someone else for covering themselves as well.

Please, the biggest gathering in a decade of white supremacists amounted to 500 people. They had another rally before the election that drew about 300. A shitty band can draw that in a club on a Saturday night. Meanwhile, Antifa can raise thousands at the drop of a hat. I see it here all the time. Every time Trump comes back to New York there are thousands of protesters waiting for him.
If you want to keep playing make-believe that white supremacists are your problem, that's on you. But don't expect the rest of us to buy it.

Outside of exceptional circumstances, they aren't a threat to people of color. They are essentially a gang so to speak. They probably account for far less violence than MS-13 or crips and bloods. For this very reason, the foundation that antifa is built on is basically nothing. Antifa will eventually be reduced to nothing more than a group of niche wackos themselves(if they already aren't). Is antifa really worth worrying about? If they are marching near your home then perhaps, but they aren't a group that will ever take any real foot hold. Too many lefties think everyone on the right is a white supremacist sympathizer and too many righties think everyone on the left is a antifa sympathizer. People naturally don't like violence and life is very comfortable right now for most in America. Neither of these groups could ever amass any real power unless a big war destroyed the country and government started to fail. Do any of you see how we are being tricked into having to pick a side? Right in front of our eyes they are drawing a battle line and telling us we have to be on one side or the other and we are all falling for it. There has to be a better way?? Should the US split into 2 countries or maybe even 4? 2 conservative and 2 liberal countries?
