In a new poll, half of Republicans say they would support postponing the 2020 election if Trump proposed it
The survey interviewed a sample of 1,325 Americans from June 5 through 20. Respondents were recruited from the Qualtrics online panel who had previously reported identifying with or leaning toward one of the two major parties. We focus on the 650 respondents who identify with or lean toward the Republican Party. The sample has been weighted to match the population in terms of sex, age, race and education.
After a series of initial questions, respondents were asked whether Trump won the popular vote, whether millions of illegal immigrants voted, and how often voter fraud occurs. These questions evoke arguments frequently made by Trump and others about the integrity of the 2016 election.
Then the survey asked two questions about postponing the 2020 election.
If Donald Trump were to say that the 2020 presidential election should be postponed until the country can make sure that only eligible American citizens can vote, would you support or oppose postponing the election?
What if both Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress were to say that the 2020 presidential election should be postponed until the country can make sure that only eligible American citizens can vote? Would you support or oppose postponing the election?
Nearly half of Republicans (47 percent) believe that Trump won the popular vote, which is similar to this finding. Larger fractions believe that millions of illegal immigrants voted (68 percent) and that voter fraud happens somewhat or very often (73 percent). Again, this is similar to previous polls.
Moreover, 52 percent said that they would support postponing the 2020 election, and 56 percent said they would do so if both Trump and Republicans in Congress proposed this.

Yep and I'm pretty sure all those polls polled individual voters and not the electoral college voters.
I assume you're aware that Hillary got 3 million more votes then Trump so what the polls were measuring was correct.
BTW I would not be surprised to learn that you're part of the 48% of Trumptards who think Hillary won the popular vote

I thought I remembered "this finding" when it came out last December. Thankfully your article provided a link to it.
The headline in "this finding", that they quote as backup to their "facts", is the following.

When that headline was quoted originally, it didn't seem really plausible, so I decided to follow the link to the article and do research. It turns out the headline was complete horseshit. From their own article:
In a nationally representative online survey of 1,011 Americans conducted by Qualtrics between Dec. 6 and 12, we asked respondents, “In last month’s election, Donald Trump won the majority of votes in the electoral college. Who do you think won the most popular votes?”
Twenty-nine percent said Donald Trump won the popular vote. This is a slightly larger proportion than in a recent Pew survey in which 19 percent said Trump won the popular vote.
Respondents’ correct understanding of the popular vote depended a great deal on partisanship. A large fraction of Republicans — 52 percent — said Trump won the popular vote, compared with only 7 percent of Democrats and 24 percent of independents. Among Republicans without any college education, the share was even larger: 60 percent, compared with 37 percent of Republicans with a college degree.
29% of 1,011 people surveyed believed Trump won the popular vote. A bunch of morons, but not all republicans. It was a whopping 293 people. Of that 293 morons, 52% of them were Republican, some dem, some independent.
52% of 293 is 152. 152 Republicans out of the 1,011 surveyed, or 15% thought trump had won the popular vote. 141 people, or 14% of the 1,011 also thought he won, but they were a mix of Democrats and Independents.
But that didn't stop the headline from stating 52% of Republicans think Trump won the popular vote - an outright lie exposed by the data in their own article.
So, it's not a surprise the Post used outright deceit to show their bias, but they continue to reference it to make their points, and dumbos like you continue to quote them as some sort of legitimate source of news.

The article and the headline are based on a poll from June of this year
They say the June results were similar to the other article/poll they referenced. The other article’s headline / 52%was an outright lie. Thus, the new 47% is likely tainted as well. They just were not dumb enough to spell out the lie in their article this time.
