He was rumored to be a big Hogan ass kisser and suck up. Hogan felt obligated to bring him to the big time because they cut their teeth entering the biz at the same time and was homeless together once.

actually a lot of people have said good things about Warrior.
eg. Honky Tonk, Kamala, HBK, Roddy Piper etc.
its all found in shoot vids on youtube.
lots of bad sure, but lots of good too.
he used to let kamala ride with him and stay in his hotel when he was making the big bucks and Kamala was getting peanuts.

Yep.
That was my point: for as unpopular as UW was, he still received more positive feedback than Beefcake.

That and the VKM/HBK "relationship" are still two popular industry rumors.
After listening to Barry Orton's accounts of what went on - particularly in that era of wrestling - it's very easily believable.
