Title: Martin Shkreli's Sentenced to 7 Years in Prison
Post by: IronMagazine.com on March 09, 2018, 11:16:10 AM
Martin Shkreli's gonna be separated from his $2 million Wu-Tang album for at least 7 years ... that's how long he's going away to prison.

A judge sentenced the former pharmaceuticals exec to federal prison Friday morning in his securities fraud case. Shkreli will also have to pay $7.4 million in restitution to the victims of his fraud. That also means the legendary "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin" album might be gone when he gets out of prison.

The feds have said they will seize Shkreli's property to cover the restitution if he can't cough up the cash.

Shkreli was emotional in court, sobbing while he addressed the court and saying ... "I'm here because of my gross, stupid negligent mistakes." The judge handed him a box of tissues in the middle of the hearing.

Big difference from the guy who boasted online about having the only copy of the Wu-Tang album, and also that he a leaked copy of Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter V" record.

No money in the world can save him now.

Interesting to see if he survives prison after one year.

Survive? Of course you'll survive he's going to a federal prison with mostly White Collar criminals and Big Time drug dealers. Everybody there has money and not many *need* to hustle to eat well, therefore its not as cut throat as state prison.

Dude will be just fine. He'll do 85% of 7yrs and be out and you know he's not gonna be broke when he gets out.(just shy of 6yrs.. Not counting if he appeals his sentence

This is the scumbag that buy the rights to medicine and then raises the price through the roof.  Fuck him.  Human garbage.

He'll be fine though.  They'll put him in a cushy white collar prison, he'll get out early.

He'll be fine. Fed prisons aeent like state. "Better" class of inmates. Instead of junkies/tweakers who get caught stealing from homes to buy meth (and trying to scam ppl in prison and run up huge debts before checking into PC and being moved to a different housing unit every couple months their entire number), at least in feds you're dealing with white collar criminals. Insurance fraud mail fraud wire fraud drug traffickers doing big numbers and guys with plenty ofmoney still "on the stteet". And the officers are "better". Foods "better"... Etc...

Dude will be fine. He's gotta do 85% of 84 months

71.4months = 5.95 years. After the first 6months he'll be comfortable and he won't even count years, he'll just be counting seasons... And I'm sure if I could run a mini unregistered "hedge fund/ prop trading" account by proxy from inside, I'm positive he will as well.

Only bad part is he won't have his own tv to watch cnbc/foxbiz/CNN/etc... all day to keep track of pops& drops. He "may" actually get IBD & WallStreetJournal THAT day, & not the day after, like I did.

Actually split the cost of IBD & WSJ with the fella who funded the account I traded on. Was a bit over $100 IIRC.

The FLEX, BlackBelt, Inside Kung-Fu, XXL, KING, Curves, Superstreet, and also split the cost of some other booty-girls mag i forget the name. It came out every-other month and was fairly large/oversizes, bigger than FLEX, probably 250 pages or so. We'd wheel 'n deal on which pics/pages we wanted... Either to keep & post in our lockers, or to sell... Which is how we'd recoup the cost, which even with the discount from the mag/book place still cost like 130 total.

...and I'd lend'em out or sell'em since we were only "supposed" to have 10 in our possession (shit might've been 15 or 20.. I forget), which is what I did with most of them except BlackBelt & Inside Kung-fu. I had full stacks of years of issues the day I was due to leave and debated hard for days before leaving whether or not to take them, since I'd had a subscription to BlackBelt since like '96..... Ended up just splitting them up and giving them to a few solid guys in there just a few mins before they called my name. Would be been like 80lbs to put in a suitcase the next morning before the flight. Oh well.

So, you autistic 50+ year old, zero social skills-having, unable to relate to any of your peers, fuck, anybody PERIOD, internet troll with a retarded (fitting, since you are actually "retarded") thinking pattern, I fail to see what's "funny" about having subscriptions to FLEX,& WSJ.

More evidence of your malfunctioning thinking patterns.

why is every story you tell always about you being king fucking dick

why the fuck would all the other inmates be clamouring around you to get pages ripped out of magazines, couldnt they get their own magazine.

whats funny about having WSJ and Flex magazine,,, you really dont see it you stupid fucker?

Can you think of any dumb drug addicted stick up man who trades stocks and shares and would need the WSJ?

The WSJ and Flex magazine are about as far apart as you can get and its just not believable that a person could have a genuine interest in both.

Its like someone having "Firearms Monthly" and "Embroidery for beginners" magazine delivered at the same time.

Its not that you didnt have them, that may be true, its just that one of them would be of zero use to you, and in reality they were both useless because you are neither a trader or a bodybuilder, you were an 180lb idiotic stick up man.

Bbecause I'd sell them. Its called a hustle. It's like buying a car and parting it out. Paying 10 bucks up front, and charging anywhere from $3 to $15 or even $20 per "laminated" picture . And no, they couldn't come up with the $10-40, because they'd lose all their money and borrow money from me to cover gambling debts and soon as they got a little bit of money they would spend it or pay off their debt. You dumb mother f*****. Talking about s*** you know absolutely nothing about, again.

whats funny about having WSJ and Flex magazine,,, you really dont see it you stupid fucker?

Can you think of any dumb drug addicted stick up man who trades stocks and shares and would need the WSJ? hate to break it to You, dunce, but I was on ZERO drugs or alcohol at the time... And "stick up man"? Hahaha... Then why did I go back to my car to get my ID when I asked to buy a Davidoff cigar (& some Chinese sausage), which I paid for..., & give a guy a jumpstart in the parking lot as I was leaving... Yea, "stick up man".

The WSJ and Flex magazine are about as far apart as you can get and its just not believable that a person could have a genuine interest in both. again, because you're autistic. And you cannot relate two other human beings

I saw a comment on this that he bought the rights to sell these drugs because the large Pharmaceutical companies couldn't make money on them and were actually losing money on them. So instead of look bad by jacking up the price they sold him the rights and he sold them at more of a correct price. Is this true? It makes a lot of sense.

Not true Jeff.

I was an avid fan of both Wall Street Journal and Flex Magazine back in the day. (17+ years ago)

And no, i didn't train because it was trendy.

You CAN have interest in both!

These days however, i have interest in neither. :D
