Size isn't everything. Arnold's personality also helped him a lot in his roles. Like any actor, you have to have a certain screen presence and deliver your dialogue in a certain way that it works.

Conan the destroyer he looked even better than T1 specially the last 10 mins of film he gained 4 pounds of muscles (according to him ) you can tell the size difference compared to earlier scenes in the movie
