PDI ANNOUNCES THE SIGNING OF STEPHEN SINTON TO COMPETE IN NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS

Pro Division Inc is proud to announce that Stephen Sinton has signed a contract to compete in NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS XXVII, Saturday, September 16th, at the Town Hall Theater in New York City.

This will be Stephens first time competing in the United States. He has won just about every major title in the amateur ranks and in his pro debut he is looking to do some real damage at NOC and in the professional ranks of PDI.

Stephen, who is from Scotland, has won the Mr. Scotland title four times. He is also the 2001 NABBA Mr. Britain, the 2001 WPF Mr. Europe, the 2004 NABBA Mr. World and the 2004 NABBA Amateur Universe winner. Stephen, known for his tremendous conditioning, will be one of the hardest, most muscular competitors on stage at the 2006 NOC. Stephen, at a shade less than 59 is expected to step on stage at a rock solid 215 pounds.

Stephen will be making his first competitive appearance in the United States at Night of Champions this September.

I am very excited about competing in New York at Night of Champions. To be onstage with Vince Taylor and Lee Priest is like a dream for me. I promise the fans of New York that I will compete at my all-time best said Stephen upon receiving his NOC contract.

Pro Division CEO Wayne S. DeMilia states, The New York fans are in for a treat when they see Stephen onstage. Best way to describe him is to say that he has a Frank Zane type physiquea physique with classical lines and aesthetics.  But in addition to his supreme conditioning and hardness, he has enough size to make him a threat for the title.

Anyone wishing to purchase tickets for Night of Champions can do so in person at any Ticketmaster outlet in New York City, by calling Ticketmaster at 212-307-4100, through the web at www.ticketmaster.com or through the PDI office at prodivisioninc@yahoo.com or 845-638-9290.

Britain runs Europe, just like we run America [all the people in charge are descended from Europeans, apart from Condi]. I think most of you [of European stock] will soon be returning to Europes golden shores; after all, the Mexicans are invading :-\ Quick, build that fence ;D

I am all for the PDI but why is it everytime there is a press release lately its for an athlete?  I mean honestly who cares at this point?  Whats the deal with the sponsors?  Is the NOC really happening?  Wheres the website already?  Yea Im gonna throw a few bills for tickets to a PDI event by ordering tickets from some YAHOO email address?  No.  Im behind the PDI to succeed but wheres the legitimacy outside of these press releases and some photoshopped poster?  Let me guess the week before the NOC we'll see sponsors, an actual website, etc?   ???

The website is coming.  I just asked Wayne about it yesterday.  It's not like the IFBB website that can be put together in two days.  The site will exude the image the PDI wants.  Class.  So it is taking time to develop.  But it will be here

Some of you may ask who Peter Sinton is, but all it takes is going to images.google.com; I found him easily.

So, PDI presents Peter Sinton:

Yea finally.  What about the official website?  They have to give some OFFICIAL pub before the NOC.  September will come fast.

The website will be up by then.  Also, full page ads are going in several magazines  Plus, Wayne has a very extensive mailing list as you can imagine after how many Olympias.  He is mailing out monthly "newsletter" type announcements keeping most everyone up to date with sponsors and other info.  I went to the website for the "townhall" where the NOC is taking place and it really is a nice place.  The URL is http://www.the-town-hall-nyc.org (http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org) Holds about 1500 people and will be packed to the gills with people.

Just checked out the Town Hall website and while it does look nice, there was no mention of the NOC.  Ticketmaster, however, does have the event tickets for sale for everything except the Saturday prejudging.

Interestingly, the Friday night pro qualifier has only two ticket prices available - $40 and $200, with nothing in-between.

Here's a cost sheet that provides a good point-of-reference for folks who wonder about how much it costs to stage such an event:

http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/pages/rental/profit.html

As Keith will tell you, the 2-day venue rental and all the associated add-ons are just the tip of the iceberg.

Of note:

Added Security (per guard x 5 hours )  $250

Surely, there are trained security professionals in NYC willing to work for less than $50/hour.

Perhaps the PDI should try to make nice with Goodrum.    ;D
