Thanks for positive feedback.  Strict dieting, no cardio.  After the shows last year my metabolism changed and my bf remained under 7 all year, no matter what I did.  I want to keep the competition guessing so I don't want to reveal my stats til the end, hope you understand.

How many times have you been to the USA's?  Your name looks real familiar.  What's your previous contests?

Looking very good 7 weeks out.

this will be my second time to USA's.  I didn't place in 01.

I just won my weight class at the 05 North American and came in third at 05 Nationals.

It was a pretty good year, but I am aiming for the pros and won;t stop til I get there!!!!

lookin' big and the conditioning looks awesome as well, the only weakness i see is the chest, too small for the arms and legs, you should win the light heavies since Arde turned pro already, i'm from St. Louis too, where do you train?

Ill be at the USA's this year to watch.   Ive seen your name around and your coming up nicely in your size thru the years.

You should be a pro very soon.     You say no cardio.....my friend Phil Hernon was the same way.

Whats your diet like on an average day, like today?   How many carbs??    Fats??

My chest has always been my lagging bodypart.  As far, as diet goes low fat, 5 meals, 2 shakes and 1 beef and rice meal and the other 2 meals are eggs and veggies.  This diet is tough for me.  But I have to keep my legs full so I need to lay off the cardio

Thanks Sarcasm.  I thought I would have if I hadn't torn my quad twice.  It took years to bring my bad leg back up.  Hopefully you can't tell which one it is.  Thanks for all feedback.  I t feels great to hear.  I know the pics could have been better.  Hopefully you will see them in magazines soon.

You could alwasy use "double sided sticky tape" in your posing trunks!

You look awesome bro, flawless arms but i'm afraid you've got some problems with nipples. Gyno maybe? I have the same problem even though i'm a beginner and i didn't even touch any steroids, mine comes from puberty. I had an operation in February but it has recurred and it has become a nightmare for me. Good luck in your competition, i think you'll get your pro card sooner or later.

Mark should win the light heavy's easy but if he decides to go heavyweight he'll have Mike Ergas to contend with and everyone knows how good he is.

If you look at the double bi pose, you will have a hard time notice any gyno.

I don't know what he'll do about the loose skin though. There are different strategies to get those areas tight, and people on this board knows about that.

Maybe it's the lighting or angle, but one quad has crazy sweep (right) and the other looks good but not so much sweep (left)........do you favor the right more than the left?

Preperation H or primucase (www.cnsnutrition.com) on the area twice a day. Once before you train & right before you get in the tanning bed. Use it on the glutes, lower back, lower ab area, it will pull water from the area & tighten the skin too.

I agree on "Primucase" and might also recomment stiff legged dead lifts to remove that excess beneath your glutes. Worked a few times when I was coaching, but I can't make any quarantees this late into the game.

Mark, are you still working with that great couple I met at one of the contests a few years back.... The Arnold?

Sorry that I forgot their name.

I have seen him at a few local gyms in the St. Louis area. Erpelding is juiced out of his mind.  However, his chest is lacking BIG TIME. It is totally unproportioned to the rest of his body. Ive seen teenagers with bigger chests than Erpelding.

Maybe it's just the photo, but his back looks very underdeveloped. Wide as hell, but absolutely no thickness.

Feedback...

1. Try to create the look of chest mass, since it's getting dwarfed by your arms in the front double bi and just overall looks flat except in side chest and MM.

2. Bring up your left leg to match your right, as there's obvious size difference there. You can tell in every single shot.

3. Work on front and back double bi posing. The position of both arms are unsymmetrical.

Good luck!

That was the same thing I was thinking. His chest is the only major weak point. Maybe his back but hell he isnt tanned and he is in direct sun light, so Hs's a MONSTER

Hey guys thanks.  These pics aren't very good but they are from last year.  I didn't do very well.  I got 8th.  I had to squeeze down to 198, losing about 20 lbs of muscle.  I knew Mike would win heavies so I thought I would come in as a light-heavy.  My conditioning was perfect the night before but I had to lose 7 lbs the minute I got to vegas.  So I sat outside in the heat and lost everything.  Well the minute I started putting fluid in the next day to fill back up, I held all that water and lost all my cuts.  It was so disappointing.  I worked so hard for that show and to lose it all in a few hours.  I could see my conditioning disappearing an hour before the show and at that point there was nothing I could do.

Anyway thats for all the great feed back.  This year will be much different.  I will compete at my natural weight in the heavies.  I should come in about 125.  And as to my chest I have been working very hard to bring it up.  It has improved alot.  I will post some pics soon.

i'm from St. Louis and Mark used to train at my gym and i'll say that Mark has more potential than anyone i've ever seen, you have to see this guy in person to appreciate how big he is especially in the arms and legs, he has the biggest arms i've ever seen on anyone, Mark knows full well about his chest but to say that there are teenagers with better chest is just plain fuccking stupid and he's no more "juiced" than any competitor is.
