Just curious about a few things. You are by far one of my favorites, and have read in several issue's of MD the you race and do quite well. Just wondering what you drive for a Daily driver, and what is your all time dream ride?

I had a 98 TA,
LS6 cam,
LS6 heads,
Borla catback,
EIbach springs,
Bilstein shocks..
It was an animal. DYnoed 330RWHP with that mild set up (mild cam, restrictive stock manifold) BUt it ran perfctly.

Lee if you have the GT500, here are some recent track times that a local Evan Smith (very popular magazine test driver for fords and gms) belted out.
Evan Smith ran the following:
12.74 at 111 with a hot car
12.42 at 115.7 powershift 2nd and spinning thru 3rd with a 2.14 60 foot
12.554 at 115.32 speedshifting 2nd with a 2.13 60 foot
12.257 at 117.18 powershift 2nd with a 2.11 60 foot
12.37 at 116.52
12.61 and 12.68 with traction control on
Fast car.

You should have gotten the Black one, the GT 500 still doesnt hold up against that Z06 Vette....LOL ;D

No mine is the Gt just added a pro charger supercharger,new headers exhaust,predator chip,new gearing,coolers,so i get more HP then the GT 500 for less price mine total around 38,000.Getting suspension done soon AND NEW TIRES anything under 55mph and i punch it it just breaks loose big time.

Yeah I got headers and an Air Lid. 3 in True Dual exhaust(No cats). Though I am only throwing down 333rwhp, and 347 Tq, I still have a lil ways to go....I am adding an LS6 intake, also a 235/240 cam on a 112 LSA, gotta have that choppy Idle....(This should net me 50rwhp without Tune) 8) ;D Also looking at some Sub Frame Connector's to help with traction....I thought about going FI(Forced Induction for those not into cars to much) but I want that old school sound first.....
As for tires man, Nitto has some pretty nice and aggressive tires, I know they recently released a Street/Road racing tire.....Might want to check that out.... That should have ya busy for a few anyway....Nitto's are good tires...Especially there DR's when they are warm...Buddy of mine has them on his car, and he dead hooks everytime....Well I think I rambled on enough for now...Enjoy man...

Yeah that is the down side to Drag Radials.....Rain and its like ya said....it's a ride :o....I guess you should ease on the gas, and not just lay her down!! LMAO JK man, somethings are just hard NOT to do....I try to be good in my car, but once in a while I lose control and run her for 3-5 miles and get up to 140ish and hold on for a minute or two and then let off :o...but i am usually the only one in the car when i do it....Cant see putting anyone else at risk except for myself.(and before anyone can say shit, I make sure I am the only car on the road when I do it)
Hopefully one day when I have the chance I will get out to the 1/4, Not times on it yet, but I have some fair times in the 1/8 on shitty launches....running roughly 9 flat most the time....Not launching at any significant RPM's just off Idle....
But I am curious on what yer car looks like.....and what the under side of your hood looks like as well.....TTYL Oh yeah before I forget again, Congrats on getting with the PDI, glad to see someone had the ballz to let you guys do what ya want, with whom ya want....

Lee, what kind of street tires do u recommend? I use to have a 1993 anniversary editon vette, I went through a dozen of different tires. the ones I preferred best were Bridgestone and Perrelli. I thought Goodyear were crap. Wore out too easily. What do u think of Yokohama, had any expierence with them?

Yeah I like the GTO as well...I dont think GM gave it enough time to really catch on....BUt the styling could have been a bit different. It really looks like an over sized Cavalier.
Lee you are going to have to keep me posted on your car's pics. When is MD going to publish them? Not that is should matter, I buy every issue that we get here in Baghdad or Balad. LOL If I can ever manage(Maybe in Jan after I move to Texas) I will have to post up some updated stats and pics of my car. Also have you taken your stang down the 1/4 yet? If so what times ya running? LMAO
For the guy asking about the POPO cars....Just about any precinct should have something posted, or you have top pay a fee to get on the invite list, unless it's a state auction....Just best to have money in hand and ready for paper work.....

Well it wont be until December. I was let go from KBR last week, but was very fortunate to be picked up by another contracting company, so I never had to leave Iraq(And for some reason I am happy about this? LOL) Anyway, thye pay better, BUT hell yeah I will stop in and say heah, if weather is fair enough I will bring my car.....Thanks for the invite...will shoot ya a message as soon as I know when!!
Even though you drag pro, it shouldnt be anyless fun to see what she can do...My buddy just went 12.3(I know slow to your 6-8 second passes) in his Black WS6.....He pretty much has the same mods as I do, except he has, Electric cut out, drag radials and the Textralia clutch.....He is a dayum good driver...

I have pushed almost to the point, but I odnt htink I ever have puked......How do I get a chance to work out with ya man...LOL I'll make ya a bet, if I dont puke then just the chance to work out with ya is good enough for me, but if I do....Then I buy lunch where ever you want to eat?
Also, is that a pending suspension from the IFBB or are they just saying, if you do this, then we will do this? What is your plan of action on this. You have pointed out that several females are par-taking in things that violate the bi laws yet there is no reprimand on them.....
Ya gonna fight it, or just roll with the punches? Knowing the way you are, you are going to fight it. And on that note....Good luck with PDI they sound like they are on a good foot thus far with letting BB's pose in anya event they wish with out all the Bullshit.....

i have a 2001 mustang GT (712 hp xxxftlbstq) and i have noticed that after a month on the car the nittos start to get hard almost like dry rott i still run those but i am still searching for a new tire to run >:(

patriot stage 3 heads,secrete grind comp cams,fox-lake p-51 intake,03 cobra block and crank,oliver billet rods,oliver forged pistons,homemade intercooled turbo kit with 96mm turbo,f.a.s.t stand alone fuel management system,that dyno run was not the race tune and without my 175 shot of nitrouse(cold fussion direct port) and that engine is being sold right now and is going back to stock for a while so i get to start all over and build something new to serve my always changing needs ;)
P.S lee i asked this before with no reply how much boost do you run on the procharger? and what model is it p-1sc or D-1sc? just curious i used to run a procharger and am thinking about building a less powerful engine so i can do more SCCA :)

Heah now, I want at elast half a chance against that Rustang ya got? LMAO Jk man, Fast is Fast no matter how ya get it there.....I am looking at a Hefty Cam kit.
Talking 233/239 on a 112LSA....Has to be noticable that it is cammed!! This camshaft typically gains approximately 50rwhp! Not to include what I will pick up with a tune, LS6 Intake and Ported throttle Body. So I should be seeing right about 425 once I am done, then once I get BACk to work her ein Iraq(Yeah I am coming home and then going back) I plan on a 90mm Fast LS
You'll have to post up some pics once the work is done, and give us some numbers man....I can talk cars just about all day long.....But I know you dont have that kinda time with working out and all.
I am planniong on going FI onc I have the money for the heads to drop the CR, and then going with a good sized STS turbo kit.....Looking to get about 15psi when I am finished.
But Your's will be done before mine, your gonna have to take me for a ride in that thing, if I can fit in it.....last mustang I got in, I almost couldnt get out....LOL

i used to drive a 2000 SS camaro with MTI stage 3 heads, MTI x1 cam,lingenfelter intake,hooker full length race header off road y pipe and borla XR-1 race muffler,and a 150 wet shot from TNT but my friend got a mustang and i rode in it and no longer liked the style and handling of the camaros i also have short legs and long torso(like lee)so its way more comfortable to me but the engine is coming out of the mustang tommarow and the stock ones going back in for a while so until i decide what i want my 540 hp hyabusa will have to do ;)
PS lee i live in the houston/galveston area and am moving my sister to austin on friday so i might stop buy golds to say whats up

Im sure you will go farther than i did. Lee picked legs to train me on and to be honest my training partners and i ALWAYS slacked on leg day. I have never seen so many sets done as i did with Lee. Even on any other bodypart day i usually do 4 diff exercises for 5 sets 7-13 reps . but when i was at Golds with lee, First time i got on leg extensions and did 15 reps then got off and he told me to get back on i got nervous!. I know my grammar sucks. Youll have a good time, hes a cool mo fo. What u see on the boards is what you get.
As for the blue vette being a little ricey i agree with you. :) And I hate ricers

Ricers are a pain in the ass, they think that a fart can muffler makes a Honda go fast......Well that and about 10k.....maybe. But that is what we have to deal with.....

Oh dont get me wrong, Supra's are beautiful cars. And with about $1500 you can have a mean Supra on your hands...I wouldnt mind onwing one myself. I had an 88 turbo supra, Blew the head gaskat and someone stole it(How? Dont ask)....I never got a notice from a towing company, so I reported it stolen.
On a brighter note, as soon as I get to work on my new contract, a Hayabusa will be parked next to my Trans Am!! The funny thing about me getting a bike is that the wife wont let me get anything but a HAyabusa.....got her talked into that!!

Im with you on that!. I guess its too easy to clump all foreign cars into ricers. I just cant stand loud mufflers and big stickers on a 55hp honda civic thats some 13 year old is driving like an asshole. Again, no problems with a kid wanting a bad ass car but start at the engine, not the muffler. :)

Ok Here is an up date. I am currently in Kuwait. I arrived yesterday afternoon. I about froze my ass of in the tent that I was sleeping in due to the industrial sized AC unit blowing constantly......Never thought I would be that cold int he desert!! LMAO
As of right now I am waiting for a flight to Bagram Afghanistan. I have limited use of a computer as of right now. I will let you know how things are coming along.

Ok, so after an interesting C-130 ride, I have made it to Salerno Afghanistan. Well talk about a shit hole, 10x worse....so small that the runway isnt even paved, it's GRAVEL!!!
Ah shit, who cares right, all I know is the first thing I saw was the GYM!!! More moeny spent on the gym then on the housing here....I aint seen but like 3 chicks so far....
But I made it safe, and see how long I can keep my sanity!!

Ok, so after an interesting C-130 ride, I have made it to Salerno Afghanistan. Well talk about a shit hole, 10x worse....so small that the runway isnt even paved, it's GRAVEL!!!
Ah shit, who cares right, all I know is the first thing I saw was the GYM!!! More moeny spent on the gym then on the housing here....I aint seen but like 3 chicks so far....
But I made it safe, and see how long I can keep my sanity!!

I have a friend right now in Herat. Actually, he's got gym equipment sitting on a pallet in Kabul waiting to be shipped out to them.
Honestly, from what he tells me...be careful of relations with women over there. You could make yourself an international incident w/o a lot of effort.

:'( I'm gonna have to get a new DVD player to watch Lee's DVD's because mine is over 3 years old and Scott uses the new discs which play really bad on my player. I think I'll get one of those tv's that has a dvd player on top and the disc inserts vertically.

Lee, hi. Always wanted to ask your opinion on this. Do you think that for a pro at your age, experience and level of muscle development it is no longer essential to train your ass off to keep in shape?
The reason I'm asking is that we have this guy in our gym who I know is a former pro (from the 1990's, don't know his name but I'm sure you might of seen him then). Well, he hardly ever trains. Comes to the gym 2-3 times a week and does some moderate cable, dumbell exercises - no deadlisfts, bench presses or anything like that. He is still in brilliant shape - very thick, dense muscle, and good definition - one look at him and you can tell he's a pro. I thought that maybe muscles reach certain maturity when you only need a minimum training to upkeep them?
What is your take on that?
oh yeah, and the cars - which european sport cars you rate highest? ;)

Well in past posts I WAS going to be moving to San Antonio. Well, the wife desided that SA is not going to be a good place to live. Thus I wont be able to come up to Austin in dec or Jan.....
We hoping to get a crack at your Mustang with my Trans Am LOL.......Oh well....Maybe nest time you are passing through Nashville TN, look me up and we can meet at a gym and go lift there.....
