I remember when he won the Toronto show everyone on here was singing his praises. I couldn't get past how ugly his midsection was, but nobody would mention it.

His size is extremely impressive in person, but not very good by bodybuilding standards. Just my opinion, but he's simply too big and blocky to be a great bodybuilder.

While a little bit of an introvert, he is a million times better than most pro's. Art got smart and went into business for himself. Trying to take care of himself. His legs and back are retarded. He's staying pretty lean in the 300lb range. He went through some pretty good injuries for about 18 months. Hopefully he can stay healthy.

When it comes to pure size, that is one big bastard.

it seems he does really slow reps and a small range of motion with no intensity or real effort (kinda like lee priest).

also, on battle for the Olympia 02, he's doing legs and will do a set of like 8 reps, but with 3 or 4 full reps mixed in with some partials. very strange.

how the hell u can say the guy is too big...the guy has too big of a waist and thats it..he has crappy arms,small dlets,a chest growing in only one direction and this back is not big enough overall..the guy is a science experiment gone waaaaaaaay bad..unless he competes at 260lbs he will never place higher than 15th..

no way art atwood has a fuckin better or a comparable back to ronnie...the guy is just the opposite of ronnie..arts gut does beat colemans gut..his gut is twice the size of coleman.thats it .no way in hell his back is anyware near colemans back..

FLEX published a training article featuring Art Atwood's "Power Rep" (?) training methods over a year ago. After he failed using his normal rep range he'd increase the weight significantly and do these 3-4" range of motion power reps to failure. Art swears it packed on a ton of mass..........I swear it's the GH and site injections.....eh, to each his own.

yeah that was the last show in wich he actually looked good and in shape..it was from hungary grand prix 2003, after that show the guy became bad to worse..

At one point him and Quincy Taylor were both working out at my gym and Quincy is much more impressive. As someone said earlier, Art's arms are pretty weak compared to the rest of him. Calves and legs are his definite strong point!
