Everyone has been positive about the show, many IFBB/NPC guys and photogs are at the show, Steve Weinberger has been sighted outside the theater, and the top 4 looks pretty good.
Why would you come in here, as a very prominent face of the IFBB, and start shitting on the show?

No, I'm not hating. i've been quite neutral this weekend - wishing the PDI well but bashing nobody.
In fact, there's not been much PDI bashing at all. Of course it's a smaller show. but the numbers were decent, the top 4 are good, and fans like having something to follow this weekend.
Why would you and Chic both appear at once and start bashing the PDI?
Do Kobe and Shaq go on message boards and crack on the quality of NCAA basketball?
Act like pros, guys.

the ifbb has dropped off to the point where the biggest show of the year isnt even on pay perview wich is a shame, but it just shows the ifbb and reps should keep a low profile!
shouldnt piss on the pdi or whatever else comes along when you have major problems in your own house!
why the fuck isnt the o on payperview, its really the only thing most of us care about that are not hard core fans...
webcast + money = bullshit for the fans due to connection issues!

I was directly repeating what a getbig member said, and I was quoting the fella too. Then I asked GB for other members who were there to post their estimates of the crowd size. I didn't show upon a board and proclaim it as truth. I asked, one guy answered, and asked for more information.
Besides, you'd be the first to admit I'm just a peanut gallery fool, and you are the face of the sport. Why would you put out false info about the NOC attendance without a disclaimer that you didn't really know?
Come on man, let's be positive, enjoy the night's events, and see what happens. No need to insult the competitors, no need to make up false numbers. You are top dog - The PDI isn't a threat, Bob. So you don't have to act like it.

Well, there's been one show.
Will you be putting in Lee's request as you said you would? I recall you said it had to be 51%, then it had to be a group, then you said you'd do it for Lee if Lee put it in writing for you.

just walked by PDI, seems like a lot of excitement def a full house, people definitely into it. Saw strongman Hugo Gerard going in..guys forearms are as big as my leg. Lots of people walking in, and lots of slutty looking girls with big hair in attendance.
also I should note, everyone in attendance looked better dressed than expected (except for girls mentioned above) No pros with discount italian silk/poly shirts from Daffy's.

I sure hope the Prize money comes from sponsors and not the door takings otherwise I would hate to be chasing the 50k prize money after the show.I hope Lee gets his 30k tonite and gets it cleared quick.

chick, A while back you did say you doubted they would even put on a show. They have, they have a few good caliber physiques, a couple top notch physiques and one of the most well known bodybuilders ever in the world on their stage. They have succeeded. Where it goes from here is unknown, but the possibility that it does well can not be ignored. If Steve W was there in support of PDI at ANY level that would also speak volumes. As a life long Bodybuilder I can't understand how this can't interest you, even if you have to do it quietly. if you weren't involved with the IFBB at all, with the exception of competitor, PDI would be a GREAT alternative to you if it does well. If it does build on interest then in a year it can pull more guys that, like yourself, are 9-15 olympia guys to compete. The stage would be pretty competitive and it would be a great show. because it's in it's infancy the judging criteria would be developing and bodybuilders may be challenged to attain a slightly different look overall. In this first show obviously Lee is way ahead of the next guy, but that will begin to change as guys like Sami get a bit better over the next couple years. Obviously someone like you would be right there in the running with Lee....that's a lot more fun then being one of the guys that just gets dropped in a place 10 slots back. The potential is great with the PDI.

From the response you got this year, I may be the only one available. But like the others you asked and then they backed out I would want the money in cash up front and all expenses paid for including my girlfriend (I'll get one by then) for a week at the best hotel in Denver is it. $100 per diem also. Jeez it might just give me incentive to get back training. Doubt it but who knows. Same deal goes for the golf tournament. Gotta get back that money you owe me somehow.
