Galeniko,
I am not looking for a quick fix at all. As a matter of fact and as mentioned in my previous post, I plan to stay all year round. I have never been fat, or have any problem in the department of controlling appetite. However, I have never been shredded and that is my new goal.hence i am taking my first deit pretty serious and I plan to stay on it all year long.
My main question was about what is the best way to introduce carbs after say 3 weeks of Atkin, and how frequent to binge (if any). I already follow most of the good practices mentioned here such as sleeping little hungry, and eat frequent small meals.
Cheers

For all the gurus in the house,
I have been in a zero carb, high protein and fat diet (atkin) for about 12 days now. The purpose is to reduce body fat as much as possible, and get shredded for the summer. The results are great so far, and I feel I get shredded by the minute (unfortunately with some muscle loss and obvious detoriation in power).
I plan to continue for one more week. Now I eventually would like to introduce carbs to my diet and stay all year on it. So what do you think the best way to do it:
1/ introduce clean carbs on a daily basis only before my workout. 2/ follow this post recommendation and cycle carbs 1 day every 3 days. Clean carbs before workout with some of form of a small treat (ice cream or a M&Ms) 3/ binge once a week for a day say every weekend with all what I can eat cheat ( that would be great!) 4/ binge once a week just for one cheat meal
Thanks in advance for any help

Boring fight, boring card plus the usual let down. They have to find a real competition to title holders and stop this marketing scams promoting Dana's boys. UFC as a whole needs to be restructured as a sport too, with too many eye poking incidents and tactical shit.
I used to stay up all night to watch UFC. It changed from a main event that I watch end-to-end to a show that I keep running in the background, and only have a look when Rogan says something interesting!

Getbig Bodybuilding Boards / Positive Bodybuilding Discussion & Talk / A good everyday diet to get lean and shredded?

Hello guys, I would like to get and maintain a shredded look. This is not for a bodybuilding contest, it is more for an everyday look. I have read that being shredded with visible Abs is entirely dependent on your diet. Can anyone please recommend a diet that is good for getting cut? Or refer me to a good web site?
I have reasonable amount of muscle, and maintain quite active (swimming 5 days a week). However, I notice that cardio makes me loose weight but it never gives this look of having thin skin.
Appreciate your help guys from those who know

Hell yes. Have a look at his Gyno, conditioning and fast ability to recover from injuries. I don't blame him as there are millions of $ at stake here.
What bothers me the most is his boring ass fighting style, and inability to finish fights. He is just good at scoring points. Last fight with Condit and during the breaks between rounds, he was crying like a bitch to his team asking them if his eyes look bad!!

Muscluer bloated bodies are a turn off. The latest fads in male clothings, fashion, movies, etc is about slim, streamlined and defined bodies. Hard ripped muscles are appreciated, and big muscles are usually frowned upon now.
I lost about 6 kilos of muscle size due to a back injury and I had to stop training completely. I only do some swimming and light jogging. Although I feel like shit, I was surprised with the amount of compliments I get now from females (including the wife).
Big, rounded muscles impress mainly males, while the streamlined look attracts female attention. You make the choice!

The half ass dead lift wasn't bad. What I find ironic is that he mentions he prefer the half rep to avoid getting a blocky waiste. We all see how effective was this strategy.
To his favor, he is entertaining to watch as long as you avoid most of his training tips. I would fall asleep if it was Cutler or narrow Heath.

Silva has put the entire heavyweight decision in Chaos. The arrogant Reem has been knocked out for the first time nice 2007. I think Bigfoot still might not be the contender, as he has just been owned by Velasquez in Ufc 146!!
The Reem is another proof that drug is just the finishing touch. Guess he needs to up the dose !
