Honestly I think there are guys at Beverly who will tell you that's way too much.  Most of their top guys like Jeremiah only use a few supps.

I would do the thermo, the Synergy, Muscle Provider, Liver &Aminos and leave it at that.

All,

Diet is good, just considering adding something to my existing stack... I'm a Beverly Intl guy, but, been hearing good things about Leviathan Reloaded.

Goal is to cut more, while maintaining lean muscle of course..
I was 213, now about 179 - 183 - fluctuating...
I've done this manytimes, but, just wanted to make a change if I get good feedback...

So here is what I am thinking: Please let me know what you think I should do as far as go for it, take out xxx, add xxx

I am not for them, but, I know lots of folks that try to rationalize why they are good..Mainly cause they say "lean" and cheap; people cannot get it out of their heads that, yes, the chain has duped them...

He(you) sounds like he's (you're) starving.

Are Saturday and Wednesday "carb-up" days.  IN all honesty it sounds like a horribly bland and unattainable diet.  If his goal is for drastic weightloss and decreased enegery, than great.  If's he's looking for long-term results, it doesn't look like chicken and bbq sauce 4 times a day is gonna cut it.

Also, add some vegetable...

Yeah, Wednesdays and Sundays are carb up days. I think you're correct in that he needs more calories each day. What else do you suggest besides more veggies

Hello everyone, here is a sample of a diet a friend is currently using. I posted about him before and got some great feedback. However, the last few weeks we've had slower progress.. Progress in the right direction, but, we're just hoping for a little more if possible. Mind you, this is all done with little supplementation. He started at 280, currently is at 235.5. Great results to date. Just looking for a boost if you can find any flaws or changes needed in the meal plan.

7am- cup oatmeal, cup Pineapple, 2 scoops whey, 1 heaping teaspoon glutamine
420 calories total for meal
9:30am- 3 oz chicken, 10 calories bbq 160 calories total for meal
12:30pm- 6oz chicken, 20 calories bbq 300 calories total for meal
3pm- 3 oz chicken, 10 calories bbq 160 calories total for meal
5:30- 1 scoop whey 110 calories. 110 calories total for meal
7:30- 1 scoop whey 110 calories. 110 calories total for meal
9:30- 6oz buffalo, 20 calories bbq 200 calories total for meal
10pm (25) GREEEEEEEEEEN grapes 75 calories total for meal
Total calories: 1535 Total calories per day.

Wednesday add the following:
cup extra oatmeal for meal 1 150 calories
1 cup of brown rice, or 1 small sweet potato for meal 3

Sunday add the following:
cup extra oatmeal for meal 1 150 calories
1 cup of brown rice, or 1 small sweet potato for meal 3 170 calories
1 serving of garlic mash potatoes (no butter or milk, just water) 100 calories

All, please help, I am at my wits end and my friend is not feeling very encouraged at this point. I will try to summarize the situation. Please ask as many questions so that we can help him out.

He is a 40+ year old man who just started to change his lifestyle in the Summer of 2006. He was 280lbs, a smoker and a drinker. He has stopped both smoking and drinking, (these are victories in itself). He talked to another friend who actually got the info from me, to change his eating habits to loose the weight. He went from 280 to 266 but mid-September.. GREAT!!!
He went to my doctor at this time and had a full set of blood work done. The results, type 2 diabetes, higher than normal blood pressure, and low thyroid. The doctor put him on medicine for the diabetes, and the thyroid, and also informed him that all problems would go away if he lost 30 pounds, with the exception of the thyroid.

On 10/14, I gave him a good workout plan to help with the leaning out while toning. (high reps, full bdy plan. Since then, his weight was 252. We adjusted the diet to a balanced 6 meals per day with clean eating. Calories were changed to 1840 per day. I also switched to 4 days a week weight training and 1 day cardio.

On November 1, he quit taking his thyroid medicine, because the pharmacist said it was about the same as the DHEA pills that he was starting to take. (25mg twice per day.)

As of today, Monday, January 08, 2007 his weight is at 245.5.

The last 3 weeks went as followed:
12/10/06 - 246.5
12/17/06 - 242.0
12/24/06 - 241.0
12/31/06 - 243.5
1/7/07 - 245.5

His Bf% is approx 25%, (hand-held monitor)
Please chime in as I respect your thoughts and opinions. Ask any questions you need to help fill in any gaps I may have left open.
