Sounds similar to my workout plan. I've recently started doing a high volume workout once every 5th week. I go heavy as hell to failure for 4 weeks, then do a week of 3-4 sets of 20+ reps per exercise for one week. It helps break plateaus but you have to check your ego at the door on that high rep week.

If you plan on gracing the bb stage plan your diet out far enough to give your skin time to shrink. I let myself get 80lbs over competition weight before and it took 22 weeks to get my skin shrunk back down. Now I try to stay only 35-40lbs over in the off season. I wish you all the luck in your endeavor towards a healthy bb lifestyle. It looks like you have alot of muscle just waiting to be "un-wrapped". Keep us all updated with progress pics.

Optimum Nutritions 100% whey.  Good blend of proteins, 110 cals, 1 g fat, 2 g carbs, 24 g protein per serving.  Very affordable.  Pretty good taste, my favorite is vanilla.

I think many will agree with me.
I agree, mixes easy in a shaker and goes down like water not like others that feel like mortar mix. Choc. mint aint to bad.

Tried eating a few the morning of a contest to get some energy, you know how that goes, a few turns into a few handfuls. Almost missed going on stage because I was on the crapper back stage. Still won my class but felt like one more pose and there would have been some fitness girls slipping and sliding during their routines. Gross I know but true.

I've used Animal Paks for years and love the things. Read the label and compare, very complete and convenient. Very affordable as well if you shop around on the web.

You are correct they were free after I bought the $350 VIP package that I would not recommend purchasing unless you just have to have a picture with Arnold. You would come out cheaper just paying for what you wanted to see.

I've said it myself and you may have too. Why all the hype about Arnold? Give it a rest already. Well it took this one experience for him to gain all my respect back again. I was at the Arnold Classic a few years ago and was in line to get my free VIP picture taken with him. If anyone has been there you know they shuffle you through like cattle. When it got to be my turn, I was standing a little to far forward of Arnold and he grabbed me by the shoulders and litterally snatched me and pulled me into position like a ragdoll. Take note I was at an offseason weight of around 260. The old man is still going strong.

Big E is right only give advice when asked. I learned my lesson when I noticed this idiot struggling on the flat bench. He took the bar down and went Ummmmmmph!!!. I went over to spot him and he muttered " GET AWAY!! DON'T TOUCH IT!!!! " My 265lb ass left his little 150lb butt there. 2 minutes later 2 gym employees dug the bar out of his chest for him.

Load up a standing calf machine ( the kind with the two pads your head goes between ) and raise your shoulders up and down in shrugging motion. Works pretty good and takes the ability to cheat by bending your arms away.

Jaxx is right, niacin will cause this. Alot of new "pump" supplements contain niacin.

I recently got a slight separation in my left shoulder, hurt like a mutha on chest and shoulder days. I finally went to the doc and he told it was in fact a separation and put me on Celebrex for 10 days and had me lay off any exercises that gave pain for 2 weeks and it helped big time.

I would try and up your protein to at least 1.5 grams per pound of body weight a day. 175= about 260 grams if chest mass is your goal.

Be careful not overtrain, short intense heavy workouts. I suggest you drop down to 3 working sets of Incline Presses, Flat Bench Presses, Incline Dumbbell Presses, Flat Flyes and drop the cross overs and add dips until you get the size you are after.

Due to the fact i coach high school football and wrestling ( i'm supplemental, not a teacher) and work a regular job as well, i had to start training at 5am. I have seen great gains since doing this. I actually get more rest and nutrients. 4:30- protein shake and supps, 5- workout, 6:15 nap ( after simple sugar and crea ) 7:30- steak, eggs, oatmeal. By 8am i've had 100-140 grams of protein and the day has just begun. Of course i crash everynight by 9:30-10pm, even when i try to stay up and watch a game or something.

DL's should be done while you are fresh and at your strongest mentally and physically, therefore at the start of your back workout. You can get too sloppy with your form at the end. You maybe a little weaker on some other back exercises such as low rows and one arm rows, but you shouldn't be any weaker on lat movements like pulldowns. Keep asking questions TNT, don't ever be discouraged by the losers out there, listen to the answers that make sense and let the smartass remarks drive you to be better than the assholes who make them.
