After seeing the bilge that was Casino Royale i've no interest in seeing the current James Bourned(which is exactly what they are, to their detriment).
Javier Bardem is an actor that always puts in a good shift. An ideal choice for a villain i think so if i ever catch any of this film it'll be for his performance.
That movie was close to perfect, with a believable real-world Bond, not some schmuck with a smile. I have no idea what the f*ck you're talking about.

Your vote isn't allowed to change the system. If it was, it would be taken from you.
Depends on where you're voting from. The electoral college was put in place so that major "regions" of America would get their own specific voice, so that concerns of a specific group of people would be heard and not washed out. I'm more worried about the number of people that DON'T vote.

I have a right to stick my dick in a blender. Not all people do. Does this imply anything about whether I should do it or not?
I'm pretty sure everyone has that right, unless you live in a third-world country without access to modern kitchen appliances All I am saying is that if you don't vote, you can't complain about the state of the country. And that it's an honor and a priviledge to have an honest, fair vote. Take China, for instance. In the past, there has been only one name on the ballot to vote for. In the past, Cuba. If you look for it, any person can find many of their own personal beliefs reflected in one candidate or another. If you don't want to be heard, then don't vote...but don't complain about the taxes you're paying.

Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: "As president, I will create 12 million new jobs," - Mitt Romney, October 16

Oh I hold them both to the same standard. Mittens, when governor of Massachusetts, was not bad at all. In fact, he was way more liberal than many currently sitting Democrats in Congress. That Mitt Romney is not such a bad and honest guy.
The Mitt Romney that he isn`t and doesn`t want to be and the one that the Republican party expects him to be are at complete odds. The true Mitt Romney is a liberal, the fake Mitt Romney is a machination trying to get votes.
I don`t like that uncertainty. Especially since he has decided to appeal to the Republicans with lies and myths that work well as they are pretty stupid. He knows this, and I hate that he resorted to that.
I suggest reading "The Paradoxes of the American Presidency" (Cronin, Genovese) to help better understand that what it takes to become president doesn't necessarily equate to what it takes to BE president.

Either way, if you decide to hate each major candidate, vote for the freakin' green party or whatever. Vote something. It's a right we have that not all do. You may not agree with the electoral college, but if you do don't vote, you cannot complain. Bottom line.

5'6" here and never had any issues with it, never had the "small man" syndrome. I guess when you're shorter it helps to add a little mass to not appear to be a pushover your entire life. Plus, much easier to appear muscular than it is for a tall dude

I like Joe Biden and can`t stand Paul Ryan. Thats reason enough. That Smarmy little whiny bitch just annoys the hell out of me. He sounds so weak, like a crying child every time he talks and what he says never makes any practical sense whatsoever. He is a Schmuck.
You sound like a republican talking about Obama. You meed to separate yourself if you want to move up in life from your position.

Blacks were not treated well in the Union at all. The wealthy Blacks at the time were all in the South, none in the North.
The Pre-Civil War north was by no means a happy place for blacks. Many were fed up with the North to the point where re-colonization was happily considered. The worst race riot in America pre-Civil War history was in Cincinnati. Some abolitionists were run out of New York and Ohio towns. But, by and large, the legal system in the North gave blacks far more protection than it did in the South.
