Last year I visited the Iban tribe in Borneo. They slaughter their pigs to, for food. I don't see the big deal about it. At least these people are honest about it, in comparison to people in the west who get their meat in the supermarket, not giving a shit on what circumstances the animal lived.
I still love meat. A big steak, medium, imported from the Argentinian pampas, is one of my favorites.
