Very possible! But remember the older you get the harder you have to workout to stay in shape. What you did in your 30's won't cut it anymore. Thats why most give up. It's to hard to work  harder. I'll be 54 in a few months. I still compete in powerlifting. Oh and I don't have abs anymore LOL.

The SPF is actually letting it stand as a federation record, as they were saying that since the catch of the misload wasn't made till much later, they aren't going to remove it from their record books.

Thats the part I don't understand. The book will show 1190. but it wasn't 1190! So it's not the right weight! Why would you want a mistake in your record books?
Maybe they plan on  Hoff getting 1190 in his next meet so it will already be there LOL I don't know.

I train for health and fitness first. Lastly for looks. I know a lot of guys are still doing the powerlift thing in their fifties but they tend to look like a sloppy permabulker with their shirts off. Doing 3 or 6 lifts for sets of low reps isn't my thing.

I had the same injury 100% tear had surgery  in a cast for 8 weeks ect ect. I have no problem deadlifting. Lost about a 100 lbs off the lift!, LOL. But  back to almost 400 now.

Most of the time when I'm on my treadmill I warm up 5 minutes ( slow walk up to fast walk) then 20 minutes Med intensity ( which for me is a mild jog) then 5 minutes cool down (fast walk down to a slow walk) = 30 minutes

No. The first suit I donated to a group who was teaching kids powerlifting and needed extra suits. I said it should work for a 132er. Then just bought the next size up. Haven't called about it though. Probably to late now. Maybe when I get back down to just under 148 it will help a little. If not i'll just shop around. Was just wondering if others had the same problem.

Has anybody had trouble with the size of Inzer's singlets? The first one I got was  145-165 LBS.   MEDIUM   ( I weigh 155 at the moment)  way to tight! so donated it. Got the next size up  165-195 LBS.     LARGE  still to tight!! I'm not talking just snug, but this is almost like squat suit tight not quite but you get the point. I am over my normal weight of 145 but I'm not to sure that when I'm down to 145 or so thats it's going to make that much of a difference.
Next size up....195-230 LBS.     XL !!

I try to be pretty strict. But theres times at the end of a set I'll hit few extra reps with a little help from Mo. Just enough to get an extra rep or 2. But not to the point I look like I'm trying to go under a limbo bar LOL

weve got a 20 year old USAPL competitor around here competing at 148 pulling 550 and squatting around the same in gear, also blows a 360 bench up shirted.

Yeah mouthpeices seem to be the thing today.  I can sure see why though if nothing else the grinding of the teeth when lifting heavy. I never wore one though they gag the hell out of me. When I played football in high school I had to wait till the last second to put my mouthpeice in so I wouldn't think about it! good thing I was on defence LOL.

But i see nothing wrong with using one.

Erector shirts are worthless.

I lift raw thats why I was asking. I had never really heard of anybody talking about the erector shirt,Thats why I ask. Just in case. I did hear Chuck Vogelpohl wears one.

Can someone tell me what the diffrence is between an Erector shirt vs a deadlift suit? for deadlifting. Is one better then the other? if they even really help!!
If it matters I lift Sumo.
