Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / E-Board - Movies, Music, TV, Videogames, Comics / IMDb's Top 10 User-Rated Movies of 2011

http://www.imdb.com/oscars/year-in-review/top-user-rated-movies-of-2011#10: X-Men: First Class Our users say: "A prequel that does not, in any way, suck. Amazing, isn't it? Offering up plenty of surprises, some kickass action sequences, mighty fine special effects, sly humor and a killer cameo, it is without doubt the best comic book movie of the year – nay, decade – thus far. And considering how overcrowded that list is, this is really saying Something." #9: Moneyball Our users say: "Moneyball is possibly the best baseball movie I have I ever seen...It is possible that if you have absolutely no interest in baseball, you would still like this movie for its message about resisting the urge to do what is safe and easy in favor of what is odd and maybe even crazy...and works." #8: The Help Our users say: "This is an incredible film that not only pays justice to the bestseller on which it's based (according to those who have read the book AND seen the film), but is phenomenally cast, with exceptional performances by Viola Davis, Emma Stone, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Dallas Howard and Allison Janney..." #7: The Muppets Our users say: "For all of you who are wondering if this will even come close to capturing the magic of the original Muppet movie, I just have one thing to say to you: go see this movie!!!!! I was a little worried myself that this movie would not be great, but I gave it a chance. And I left with a smile on my face. " #6: 50/50 Our users say: "Honest and at times tough to watch but never purposefully harsh or depressing. In fact, it is generally positive but in a way that isn't all sunshine and unicorns. It is smart, hilarious, and even touching while all the time remaining respectful of the audience's ability to relate to difficult circumstances without artificial emotional fishing. #5: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 Our users say: "What an amazing achievement to faithfully bring Rowling's epic saga to the big screen with the same cast and largely the same crew, maintaining the brilliant quality right to the end... Oh my god, its only just sinking in, this was the end....but what a great great end." #4: Drive Our users say: "A truly beautiful and hypnotic film... this is really Gosling's film, and he inhabits the character completely, turning what could be a straightforward Hollyood tough-guy role into a complex and contradictory character, self-confident and physical, yet clearly lonely and possessed with a certain peculiarity and stillness." #3: Warrior Our users say: "Every so often you'll come across a combat sport movie that manages to find just the right balance of drama and action – that is, more drama than action. When fights are justified with backstories full of crushing emotion, they become all the more intense and gratifying." #2: Hugo Our users say: "Absolutely brilliant. From the very first scene, you get a sense of how Scorsese is able to tap into the charm of 3-D... It's such a fantastical but genuine story that you can't help but fall in love with it, I think. Scorsese has brought a boy's dream to life but also written a love letter to film-making." #1: A Separation Our users say: "What makes this film the best I've ever seen in Iran? Is this the story or is this the directing? Maybe it's the acting, or perhaps the editing. I believe this movie has them all... Asghar Farhady has proved that one can be a successful filmmaker and yet show a more realistic picture of this land and average or working class Iranian families."

This thread has gone from, a stupid bitch model walking into a moving propeller & severing her left hand/losing an eye/giving herself brain damage in the process. To reminding Booty, that she is a Porn star/sex worker, who stalks people on the internetz & at BB'ing shows/seminars.
To me making a joke about training with katana, & selling a Hanzo sword. It has now however, entered the twilight zone, where an obese man with a PHD, is telling me that no every MD/CEO of a successful company is getting "well paid" (not if they are not successful that quarter, I agree) only he just proving how pedantic obese people with slothful lives can be when let lose on the internetz.
The we have the incredibly anal Prime, splitting hairs about modern linguistics, fucking hell this is giving me a headache. I need to go lay down. No. Fuck you lot I am going to the office.................. ...............

When Phil won he was in the 240s, when Ronnie Cleman won his 1st, he was 249, when Dorian won his 1st, I think he was in the 240s...so, I don't consider Phil a "smaller guy".
I think people don't like the fact that Phil won for various reasons, one is that he did it so quickly. Another is because Phil as of right now doesn't get stupidly big in the offseason and grows into contest shape, s when people see him in the offseason, he looks like a guy who lifts, not like a guy who won Mr. O...in short, they don't find hm impressive---unless it's in contest shape.
Yep, plus a lot of the guys here are brainwashed by gh15's opinion of Phil. Everyone raves about Flex and very few here would complain if he'd won an Olympia or more, but he was just as narrow as Phil and less muscular, not to mention the overuse of oil. The whole current lineup is weak, but I think Phil would've been top 2 or 3 even in the 90s. People romanticize the 90s guys here but as good as a lot of them were, they weren't any bigger than Phil or have his completeness.

Uncharted 2, lately. Going to get Arkham City soon and Uncharted 3, but I don't have much time. There was also a guy who told me how to download comic books, which led to me downloading ALL Batman story ark collections and I've read all Conan comics from Dark Horse in the last weeks, from 2003 to now. Besides that, some Captain America and the Spider-Man clone saga. Uncharted 2 is the shit, I love this game. Haha nice, I've been DLing some stuff too, will get some recommendations off you soon.

you are the only guy who still tries to perpetrate a lie even though gh15 demolished all liars in bb .. you were as natural as fisting
You asked him if I was natty and he said yes, I've got the link to that thread. Now you avoid it like you avoid discussing your lie about being Swerdlow's concubine in ancient Rome. Gayer than signing up for the Montauk project for the free anal probes.

One bad trip I had,I was killing giant bugs in my bedroom with a sneaker, seeing hands coming around my bedroom door, seeing feet walking back and forth under my door even though the door was flush to the floor, choking the shit out of an imaginary guy on my stairs, talking to my sister until 5 AM even though she wasn`t even home.........at least I talked to what I thought was my sis for at least 4 hours..............when I finally came down, which took quite a while,I thanked my sister for staying up and talking to me as I was freaking out, and she told me she stayed at her boyfriends house that night................... .......weird trippy shit !!! That morning I called my buddy who tripped with me and he said his ex girlfriends daughters head was in his bathtub..........had to go over and try to straighten him out with coffee. A good time was had by all !! What drug induced this trip?

Mr sister use to sleep walk. She would try to climb up walls and all kinds of weird shit. She eventually snapped out of it. That's crazy when someone can commit murder while they're asleep!
Would be cool if you could lift weights, esp. heavier than when you're awake. Imagine going to sleep and then waking up the next morning to find you've broken your deadlift PR or your arms 1/2 inch bigger
