That dude needs to read this article:
How (and Why) Athletes Go Broke Recession or no recession, many NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball players have a penchant for losing most or all of their money. It doesn't matter how much they make. And the ways they blow it are strikingly similar
• By the time they have been retired for two years, 78% of former NFL players have gone bankrupt or are under financial stress because of joblessness or divorce.
• Within five years of retirement, an estimated 60% of former NBA players are broke.
Not hating, but that makes me laugh.

Radar had earlier reported that Khloe demands included $500,000 for every year of their marriage, the couple's house, $25,000 a month in spousal support, $5,000 a month for shopping, $1,000 a month for beauty care, a new car at the end of every lease cycle, and courtside Laker tickets for everyone in her family.
This fat bitch got this much?

exactly
i'm a very hardcore mma fan yet i can even tell you that gina is nothing more than eye candy to me.
i mean it isn't her fault that she is REALLY HOT and i have a penis
however, if she looked like roxanne modiaffari (sp) then i would be telling you how great of a female fighter she is
I think it's cool she can back her shit up with ability but let's face it, she's going to exploit herself for the money because she can.

I blame the media for Vick being allowed anywhere near an NFL field...Esp/ESPN(they have been in the tank for him since day 1--Anything for ratings)...Not to mention these asshole owners who all own many business's outside of football wouldn't even think about hiring a convicted Felon for any of their non-sports positions...This is the type of hypocrisy that needs to be brought to the table...
They keep talking about 2nd chances...Where are the 2nd chances for the black community who are riddled with felony convictions but can't get by a job application without being asked if they are a convicted felon?...These negro's should storm the streets and demand that job applications not be aloud to ask such things...
Stfu. This dumbass and his dumbass brother have had the good life thrown at them and they fuc.ked it up. Vick is a class A douchebag and always will be.

Very interesting, TA. This sounds like a better idea than adopting it nationally. If a state or two ran the system on a smaller scale, it would be much easier to troubleshoot and tweak any problems than it would be on the national level. I'd be much more supportive if I could see the effectiveness here in the US demonstrated, problems addressed, and fixed before the whole country is brought into it.
Better yet, the people who want this coverage can be taxed for it and the rest of us don't have to pay anything.

Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: 8/14/09 Judge Napolitano's Verdict: Continuing Path Toward National ID Card
|
on: August 15, 2009, 09:35:41 AM

Therein lies the issue. Of course, maybe a bunch of uncorruptable people could be found to work in the ID card issuing agency. Just like they have uncorruptables working in passport agencies & airports . National ID card = new source of revenue for criminals & corrupt civil servants. It is possible that it'll have a few the poor illegals deported, but obviously, those richer ones - i.e. terrorists will be able to skirt around the ID card because of the amount of money they have behind them. Then of course - there's you & me (OK - I'm English but same shit is going on over there). You and me will be carded, id'd, asked to 'show our papers' any time the police think we 'look like trouble'. What remains unknown to me - is exactly what problem the US has that this resolves. The UK has a different issue with illegals but in the US, it seems to me that it's fairly easy to ID an illegal immigrant without the legals carrying ID. Perhaps I am wrong. I lived in Knoxville TN for a while - an illegal there would stick out as far as I did. In LA where I spend 2-3 months a year, there's a lot of hispanics but you'd presume those that were newer would be pretty easy to spot & would struggle to even tell you what a social security number was. I just don't see what issue it resolves. I can't speak for the passports but as for licenses, trust me, the DMV is easily corruptible. I think illegals need to go and SS cards are a joke. I think if they were better tied to the actual owner then we could eliminate the problem of illegals stealing identities. We also need to stop giving illegals drivers licenses. You're right though. A big problem is not the IDs but rather the fact that the presidents in this country are too big of pussies to tell illegals we will round them up and deport their asses. They are being told to stand down right now which is BS. That being said, I'd rather have no national ID then have all my information out there. What is going on in the UK with immigrants?

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Would you hit a woman? Yes or No
|

I am against any kind of domestic violence, BUT I believe in one set of rules. When ever a set of rules is brought out to protect any sex, group, race or religion it is instantly abused by that group. If a woman hits a guy she must get her ass arrested just as quickly as a guy would every one must be judged the same way. If you hit me especially in the face I will loose my temper and then anything is possible. I have had 2 relationships with woman who where violent but always hid behind you must never hit a woman. I have had mace sprayed in my face(for breaking up with her), boiling water thrown on me(political argument), stabbed in the neck with scissors(for telling her she was unreasonable) and punched in the back of the head(for being anoyed with her gay friends). All as punishment for not bowing before some one else's selfish will. And yes after being punched in the back of the head I did do something back. It was a long time coming
Sounds like you were a big fat pussy there for awhile.

I get it: insurance companies take care of the well people, but as soon as you get sick and costing the insurance companies and their shareholders money, you get pushed onto the public role.
(in fact we already have that: work, pay premiums, get sick, loose your job, loose your insurance, file for bankruptcy, go on Medicaid)
That's how it is in Canada and England. It's great until you get sick.

Killing dogs cost the guy 2 years of his life and 100 million bucks.
Lots of NFL guys have done far worse and lost far less.
Maybe they will think twice now that they see Vick lost a lot of money. Although I guess it doesn't matter much. These idiots always waste their money anyways. It will be interesting to see how many years Plaxico gets; loser.
