I've been around pitbulls my whole life. They are great great dogs, especially with children, with outstanding temperaments, the name "nanny dog" is very fitting.

Seriously? Roughly 1 out of every 4 people on this earth is a Muslim, and numbers are growing fast. If anywhere near 10% were terrorist, these types of atrocities would be far more common. As I said before, there is NOTHING in the Quran or the Sunnah of the Prophet, that condones or perpetuates any terrorist activity. It actually does the opposite.

It doesn't matter. Anyone who truly understands Islam, the Quran, and the life of the Prophet, are going to come to the same conclusions.

Any Ideology that sparks terrorism is NOT Islamic. There are always going to be small numbers of nuts, who may claim to be Muslim, or any other religion for that matter,  but their actions in no way correspond with what they claim to be. It's not surprising that there are people around the world, some happen to be Muslim,  who hate America,  and in response they may adapt a certain twisted violent ideology which Islam clearly does not represent. I'm not sure why that is so difficult to comprehend. I mean Islam also clearly states that alcohol is forbidden, yet there are plenty of Muslims who drink alcohol. That is the problem of that individual, not Islam.

E kul, Maybe you should actually research what is meant the Quran by Jihad, or what it is referring to, in its correct context, when it talks about fighting or killing anyone.

E kul, You should really educate yourself as to what Islam is and is not because you sound extremely ignorant. There is no connection between what the religion of Islam actually teaches and terrorism. In fact it says in the Quran, if any person takes just one innocent life, is as if he has killed all of humanity. The so called violent verses pertaining to war or killing infidels are dealing with specific circumstances. The Quran gives the Muslim permission to stand his ground and even kill if he is under attack. No matter where it happens, it is permissible for him to defend himself, but the moment their aggression stops, he must stop as well. Of course there are people of all religions who are going to adapt their own twisted ideology, and act in a manner that is not a representation of what their religion teaches. There are 1.8 billion Muslims in the world, and growing much faster than any other religion, if Islam were truly some twisted, violent religion, we would see many more cases of Islamic terrorism.

Actually anyone who reads the Quran, with an open mind, and puts in the extra research to understand it's verses, knows that it is simply not possible for that book to be anything other than revelation from God.

I have found having a serious religious discussion with most atheist is simply an exercise in futility. Some may have certain verses or historical facts memorized, but they lack a real comprehension of what they are reading.

I'm always amazed that people buy into this "Muslim terrorist" propaganda. If the person or group, of any religion, are terrorist, call them terrorist, it has absolutely nothing to do with the religion of Islam.
