And the "poor lines" are probably the lat/chrismas tree split. On Saterday there wasn't one at all it looked like one continuous muscle. The "poor structure" is IMO a reference to Wolfes telescopic waist which can be seen in practically every pose except this one.

You could save yourself a lot of time by cleaning up the diet and losing some 10 lbs.

You're probably cerca 40 lbs away from being in competition condition right now, try to not make that 50, make it 30 or 20 lbs.

Add two brisk walks every week on rest days, it will keep your metabolism up. And exchange the fast food for whole foods, whole grains, nutritious food.

A slight caloric deficit every day, 500 calories or so, and you will be where you should be in two-three months.

I doubt it's 40lbs. Looks like he's carrying alot of water (which is obviously lighter than fat).

Ronnie is trying to sell DVD's Milos is trying to increase his reputation as a trainer. They are two very different goals. Neither has the primary goal of increasing muscle mass whilest shooting a video.

very very good post. another aspect is that some bodybuilders psych up too much before lifts, which will drain your mental energies fast! and possibly cause overtraining (altho overtraining is often a misused word and an excuse to not work hard). same goes with guys who think about bodybuilding 24/7, which will make you burn out real quick.

Of course. Increasing your mental intensity with psyching would lead to adrenal burnout. Why did I never think of this?

That could potentially be more important than force output and volume in terms of overtraining.

Muscle is important to women, whether they are even consciously aware of it or not.  But there are things that are just as important: straight white teeth, a good hairline, good hygiene and matching clothes, and above all else, a good face.  The dude in the picture would not attract more women with more muscle, and would maybe even attract less.

Yes although his upper chest is too flat. It's so flat looking it's making me feel sick! There obviously would be Women who would prefer him more muscular, less muscular, fatter, taller, shorter, whiter, or with pearcings. It's all a matter of preference. It just depends if you want mass appeal. If you aren't great looking maybe you should consider catering to a niche market and bulk up to 400lbs and put a bolt through your dick.

There were pictures on Flex Online of Ronnie and Jay posing Ronnie has no size in his long head. Or his left Lat As I recall they were saying that Jay is bound to win "again" this year.

I actually saw the photos you're talking about. If he has torn his tricep I think it's just a symptom of his problems, as is his weird looking left lat and odd scapulae positioning I bet it will just tear again unless the underlying problem is resolved. Cry

As with almost everything you could probably trace it to the hips and spine.

I really feel bad for the guy. I hope he gets better and reaches new heights. But I also hope Jay kicks his arse when he does. Wink

Hello again, so a synthol site not a trp. Well I can't be expected to identify one of those since I've never seen one before. Very interesting, I'm sure far more people are using synthol than most people realise. I'm seeing more and more freaky looking arms calves and delts in the UK with a rather odd look to the skin (like it's really tight and doesn't give almost like it's glued to the muscle underneath). Perhaps there is some synthol use and the skin didn't have time to catch up? But they don't appear soft like Valentino's arms.

Does that sound like synthol 2 you?

Could somebody (anybody)  please explain Milos system for mass gain. My understanding is he uses giant sets and relies upon accumulating fatigue as opposed to taking the early sets to failure. Am I correct in that assessment?

Is this the method all the top guys at his gym use?

What are his opinion of the pro's training videos? Does he think they represent their true training or just alot of hardcore heavy entertainment that they reckon the fans want to see?

He has great genetics for muscle building for sure, he looks like crap now, but who wouldn't with all those stress and anxiety?
He is not working out for a looong time, and his system pumping tons of cortisone every minute, he is in respectable condition considering this situation!


He looks just like any other inmate. You don't think the guys on death row are under stress aswell? This picture gives me no reason to think he's ever touched a weight in his life. How is that good condition?

Thats because there are no studies you muppet! I know plenty of guys on steroids they all had side effects. I did my dissertation on environmental causes of steroid use I had interviewed about 10 roiders one was impotent for 6 months (last count) and fucked up his kidneys. One was temporarily impotent and later got spots and started taking ruakatan aswell for the spots (which fucks up your liver) thats ontop of whatever else he took eg for bitch tits. Then he quit.

One occassionally complained of impotence and had rubber like discs under his nipples (pre-gyno I guess?) he had deep depression at one point and was taking valium.

Two guys I know but didn't interview had 6 strokes between them. There may have been drug interactions at play. 1 of them ended up with underactive thyroid (although this could be coincidence). One other came off steroids but was recieving hormone replacement on prescription in his mid 30's (which I know because I saw his prescription in the bin in the gym changing rooms).
 
Furthermore the affects of steroids are well documented eg the steroid shield.

Acute: Testes shut down
Chronic: Body produces testosterone anti bodies

All the hormonal affects tend to be primarily caused by duration of usage and not by dosage.

What's a trigger point?

Today:
Afternoon: chest
Evening: biceps & triceps

A trigger point is basically an area of muscle tissue which goes into a spasm. First you should probably know you should expect to have trigger points it's normal, especially in postural muscles (which the triceps are not) visually apparent trps like this one are not IMO normal. The typical theory is that the muscle goes into spasm preventing blood flow, and thusly removal of lactic acid etc, it's believed to be a viscous circle. Eventually it can mean clicking elbow joints (which can be fixed in this case) and of course pain either in the triceps or referred to the biceps (in which case you would have a trp there aswell). Your triceps may also look a little shorter which IMO isn't good either.

You want to get a massage specifically "cross fibre friction" on the triceps where you've got the lump. I'm sure somebody will be able to do that for you at Milos gym or if not they will know somebody I'm sure. Why not go see Dr Franco Columbo just for the crack, it's what I would do if I was in California.

Alot o specific moves to work biarticulate muscular. Kind of what I'd expect, a bit showy though does Milos really think it's appropriate for guys at your level?

PS: You have a trigger point developing in your long head. You can see it right there in the pic. Did you do any exercises closing the shoulder joint and extending the elbow joint together? If so cease immediately! Or it could develope into a real bitch.

I think the nattie/clean trainer is more similar than different to the enhanced trainer.. Whe it comes down to it, its just that the journey to the same end result is a bit different.

Having the Dr tell me that my kidneys and liver are in tip top condition and that my chance of a heart attack in the next ten years is so low it literally cannot be calculated.

The majority of Women aren't much impressed by the Ronnie Colemans of this world but afew Women are and there is only one Ronnie Coleman. Demand outstrips supply and it's a sellers market.
The smaller you get from here the larger percentage of Women will think you are a nice build but there will be a greater increase in the number of guys also built like you.

These skinny guys might appeal to more girls but any pretty lady can find a hundred guys with bodies like that in any club, so if she's after hooking up with a guy with a body like this even for one night She can afford to be more choosey about other things like his looks and personality.

You can't please all the people all the time so don't try.

I thought cortisol was a catabolic hormone. So then if anything wouldn't it break down fat, I would worry more about my cartilidge if I were you. I wouldn't trust a physio to give me a cortisol shot unless I had got my own MRI and shown it to another consultant preferably one who has nothing to gain by prolonging my injury or by bringing it to a premature close at the cost of a long term performance decrement (ideally speak to a qualified freind or family member) and had a second opinion from him.

One final piece of advice, if your physio was an athlete or bodybuilder (recreational or otherwise) whoose career was ended by injury sack him the second you come by this information! Why?

1) The same principle as "never trust a bald barbour he has no respect for your hair".

2) If he couldn't prevent his own injury how in the blue hell do you expect him to be able to fix yours?

Hey, ok I have had a shoulder problem for last 3 years when i initially injured it lifting too much and playing basketball(long story).  Anyways,  been to doctors, orthopedics etc... they won't do anything, x-rays say there is no problems, most likely weak tendons or damage to connective tissue...  Well I broke my hand and didn't do any shoulder lifting for over 3 months and miracously my shoulder seemed to repair itself, and I was having no problems for the last 5-6 months, but I was sick of lifting the same weights and decided I needed to start forging forward and I increased the weights I was lifting and then snap my shoulder went.  I normally 1 RM 400 on bench and the other day i tryed just using 50 pd dumbbells to warm up and the shoulder was so weak and in discomfort. 

MY question is, any suggestions on rehabing it faster than 4 months off?  Think I should just take 3 weeks off of just chest or all shoulder related lifts?  Or is it possible if the shoulder is up to it work it light? 
I'm doing rotator cup exercises eod and trying to strech it good.

Also,  what is your opinions on ever being able to lift heavy and get big?  If every time I try to increase my weight on bench or military press my shoulder goes out how am I supposed to get bigger and compete...  Is it a useless battle to try and fight this.?

have you considered that it might be a nerve issue, hence why you get weak and there is nothing on your scans. Also I can think that reaching upwards constantly especially if you are stretching would aggravate a nerve pain. Maybe I just think that everybody has what I did, but it sounds like a possible nerve issue to me.
