Hardly. I'm saying that on average games are not as fun as they were years ago. Are there exceptions? Yes. And I have been fortunate to be involved in many of them. I have also been involved in some stinkers as well. It takes more than just one person to make a game. There are hundred and sometimes thousands of people involved. So a producer can easily destroy a great concept with ineptitude. He can also make something that would be poor into something great. One person can definitely make or break a game in certain places. |

In most ways, they are. However, on average (which is what I assume we're talking about) they definitely have much more filler and extraneous bullshit than the games of yesteryear.
The good parts get better, and the bad parts get worse.
Don't think I'm siding with tu on this, btw, I have no idea wtf he's smoking, especially with his "DS games are the highest rated" comment... lol?
If you look around at the best games on average, the DS games average higher... even though there is a substantially higher number of titles, they typically aren't always the prettiest, but they play better and are more fun than a lot of the titles that are released for consoles. That said, a lot of the DLC titles are also quite good... Games like Shank, Little Big Planet, stuff like that. |

Of course not. On no level should that be the case. As a matter of fact, Zimmerman definitely should be held accountable for his actions. That said, murder seems too much. I truly believe he should have been charged with manslaughter. He put forth motions that could have been avoided. He instigated the situation and that should count for some punishment Murder is just an over reach. |

Yes I have. What's more I've driven an old Audi on the road.
Is 1981 before 2002? Big numbers were never my strong suit.
Even if they are rare what does that prove? Correlation does not imply causation.
After the hatchet job that 60 Minutes did on the 5000 in the mid '80s, the resale value of Audi vehicles plummeted and Audi's sales basically dropped off a cliff. They were, in essence, dead. Things began to recover in 2001, so for about 15 years the U.S. was a dead market for them. So perhaps that explains why you don't see many older Audi's. The older models from the 80's (if you can get them) are, basically, bulletproof. Ridiculously overengineered and able to soak up abuse like nobody's business.
I could tell you stories about that 1981 I mentioned. What a beast of a car...
Not quite. Is a Porsche a more expensive Audi? Or a SEAT a less expensive Volkswagen? Is, by the same token, a Lexus an expensive Toyota and a Scion a cheap one?
If you like it, that's great. I'm just saying that when it comes to cars it is not illogical to draw the conclusion that older Audi's are not very reliable. There are a few AMC Gremlins still on the road too. |

The RS5 is an obvious choice, BUT... Have you ever seen an old Audi on the road?
Anything ever before 2002?
Honestly, I haven't... The civic will be on the road in 400K miles... I highly doubt the Audi will be. Then again, maybe that doesn't matter to you.

I agree with you... It is possible that it could affect Hillary in 2016, but I highly doubt it. I still say that there is not enough anger to overturn a Hillary run yet... I would be happy if congress can at least stay deadlocked at this point. But of course the Republicans won't overturn a damn thing anyway... The didn't stop the goddam patriot act from being renewed and nothing will change. |

Trickle down game-onomics. Your trolling is kind of funny. I guess.
But that hasn't worked for the fans of the Madden franchise. Once EA garnered exclusive NFL rights eliminating competition for the pro football franchise (thus creating a massive amount of money for the game publisher and developer) innovation within the genre halted.
Competition and innovation from 2K Sports has made EA fold a once great basketball franchise in NBA Live because their product simply couldn't measure up to NBA2K's series of BBall. Had EA bought exclusive NBA rights, which it attempted, we would have been stuck w/ versions of NBA Live that were shelved because they were "that bad". Thankfully NBA2K was available and gave consumers a choice.
NBA LIVE 14 is coming this year. |

Microsoft in conjunction with publishers are looking to move toward an all digital distribution model for games. In this model everyone makes more money as a result of tighter control of products.
Anytime I can eliminate a private seller re-selling something when I'd rather have the ability to sell it new is a win for the publisher and console manufacturer.... If we can get rid of a gamestop and make them come to me for the drug, then it's better and more money goes to me and not someone else. |
