Lose your license?
Hah!!! While I can see why you would ask ME that... and believe me... I would too I suppose. That is not the case. I'm trying to lean out so I have decided to up the cardio and I figured that a good way to do it would be to get in some extra miles to and from. So the round trip brings my overall mileage to about 5.5 miles including cardio. It seems to be working as I've lost 3 pounds in the past week and 1/2. I shall continue this for some time and see how things go.

Well, the cops probably faced far greater danger than those two did, lol.
4.2 million is peanuts.
Just guessing, but half to the lawyer and half to taxes? Even if it's not taxed, that's just a piss poor settlement.
It's very dangerous to be driving around to be delivering papers man... I thought you knew this.

Tu Holmes knows Los Angeles
I am a transplant, but in my 6+ years of being here, I have lived almost everywhere around and made sure to get around and see things. I really do like the place. Can't lie. The politics of people here drive me a bit batshit, but I guess they are just way more liberal than I am.

Yeah, the one I went to was a new location so maybe that's why everything was so good. The place was staffed by clean looking white kids.
I had one of those double hamburgers and it was fucking huge and put together just like the picture and everything was really fresh. Fries were fucking awesome too.
I do not typically eat at JIB, but let's face it, if you only have 5 bucks you can get a burger, some fries, and if they have a self order kiosk, a free taco for 5 bucks.

71-Year-Old And Her Daughter To Get $4.2 Million For Being Shot By LAPD
Rebecca Baird-Remba|Apr. 24, 2013, 11:40 AM|1,041|13 The city of Los Angeles is paying out $4.2 million to two women who were accidentally shot by the LAPD during the citywide manhunt for fugitive ex-cop Christopher Dorner, the Los Angeles Times reports. Margie Carranza, 47, and her mother, Emma Hernandez, 71, were delivering the L.A. Times at 5 a.m. on Feb. 7 when they unintentionally drove down the heavily guarded street in Torrance where one of Dorner's potential targets — an LAPD captain named in Dorner's online manifesto — lived. Cops allegedly opened fire on the two women driving a blue Toyota pickup, mistaking it for a gray Nissan Titan that Dorner had reportedly been driving. Carranza, who was driving, escaped with only cuts on her hands, while her mother, sitting in the backseat, was hit twice in the back, according to the L.A. Times. One of the bullets pierced Hernandez's upper back, exited her chest, and barely missed her heart. "Margie is screaming 'we are being shot at, we are being shot at!'" Glen Jonas, their lawyer, told the Times. "Then she screamed out, 'I am just the newspaper woman, I am the newspaper woman!'" Neither suffered life-threatening injuries, and both recovered. LAPD chief Charlie Beck called the incident a "tragic misinterpretation" by officers working under a high level of stress. He personally apologized to the mother and daughter a few days after the shooting and launched an investigation into the officers' conduct, which is ongoing. Trutanich called the agreement a "no brainer because the costs were going to skyrocket." "We got out of this thing pretty cheaply all things considered," he said.

Just kills you doesn't it... you can't plead "I don't hate all cops" when you take stands like this.. you are a cop hater Tu... that's ok, you must have your reasons, but please stop pretending you are an average citizen who thinks rationally and open minded.
Not a bit. I do not hate cops... As I have said before, I have cop friends. I hate the police state and I hate cops who abuse their authority. Many of my own personal cop friends hate the police state. Headhunter is a military guy who sees this for what it is... He has just recently seen the light and I applaud him for it. Seems to me you are just justifying your job, but hey... You do what you do. Just remember... We've been going around and around this for some time, but you still know my real name, but I don't know yours. You scared of people knowing who you are? What do you have to hide? Sounds fishy.

Not at all. What part of my statement was incorrect? I make a factual statement about Germany not even 80 years ago and you decide that makes me a "cop hater"? Puh lease.

My argument isn't that citizens shouldn't be allowed to be armed. In fact, sane, law abiding citizens who receive training should be able to carry a firearm. In almost every case the threat to the average citizen can be addressed with automatic pistol or shotgun. rarely will the average citizen need to take a long range shot, or have the need to be able to penetrate body armor. The weaponry of the police and the weaponry of the average joe does not need to be equal as they are different ..
Why? You do realize what the 2nd amendment is for, right?
