Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: If Dex wins the ASC, will that make him better than Flex and Co.?

I think bodybuilding is about you who beat. Titles themselves doesn't mean anything. Even a guy as good as Chris Cormier always got his ass kicked in the 90s(except 99) because the competition was so tough and in my opinion Cormier is better than Jackson. Dexter got his chances against Kevin, Shawn and Flex at the Olympia and it didn't go that well. Kevin 1-4 Shawn 0-3 Flex 1-2
Dex is a great bodybuilder but not in the league of those three.

For Galeniko's post.
1. Kevin is too old to compete now and it would make no sense to try. He's closing 50. 2. Jp Fux had a few good showings like 1997 Olympia where he was seventh. I think he had more potential that he ever showed on stage. 3. Ruhl was more like 2000s guy. I think he alongside with Dexter made the most gains and improved for many years. Too bad all the injuries piled up. 3. Nasser back's wasn't elite but it was still good. He had great overall package and was one the best for many years. 4. I think Shawn had plenty of muscle. 215 with that height. He wasn't small by any means. 5. Matarazzo really couldn't hang with the pro's of that era. His biggest achievement was beating Flex as an amateur. So I agree with you Galeniko. Although he was ninth in 1998 at the O.
6. Dillet's posing was awful. He couldn't do the back poses right so it always made his back look much worse than it was.

The 2000's was the real golden age you will never see a freak like coleman dominate again.
I think 90s were best considering competition and talent but early 2000s were exciting too. Internet made following bodybuilding easy and we still had Flex, Shawn and Kevin alongside Ronnie. When those guys retired Ronnie was basically pro bodybuilding for many years and when Ronnie retired we had nothing left. Dark ages since 2006...

If I recall Darrem said the he turned pro natural. I think he had a good career. 7th place at the 2003 Olympia and bunch of small pro show wins. I think he tried to compete with bigger bodyweight but it never worked. He wasn't willing to up the dosage. Good for him.

for these pic i did absolutely zero "tricks of the trade" but i could have done just 3 things and then i would have "appeared" about 25% better IMHO
1st thing is tan myself, 2nd thing is do some diet manipulations (carb load, laxitives, etc), 3rd thing would have been to pump up
those 3 things would have "improved" my look 25%
I think hitting the pose right would make some difference. You're doing it wrong man (extending your arms way too much and the angle is way off. Makes your back look like paper thin and shoulders disappear) I would think your back is much better as seen on those photos. Good biceps too. Triceps and rear delts are lacking.

Thats what GB is all about. Brothers in iron helping each other out when needed. Sure they go to war in the gym, but there is a mutual respect for one another. The quest for quality mass is a long and arduous one, but when you have fellow gym warriors fighting by your side you will never fail.
Such a beautiful post. Good manners, mutual respect and heavy training. That's what it's all about!

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Benching 315 lately?

I did quads, chest, calves and abs today. I'm dieting at the moment so I tend to do more high rep sets which I like a lot. 15x265 I did on the bench. It sure is whole different story to bench reps with two plates than three( if one is natural ) Adonis buddy. Have you had success on the bench recently?

and here your insecurities come out. you think hot girls can have any guy they want because you would get with any girl you could, you think every other guy is as pathetic as you, but you do not realize that alot of guys actually have shit going for them, good jobs, doing well with education, good personalities ect in your eyes the only thing that girls care about is how much "legit kigtropin" you are saturated with and when you dont have that you start panicking, you don't think for a second that she is just playing with you and you look like some sort of monkey in her eyes, you're just a tool for her to make her feel better for she has tamed the ape, in case the 130 lb skater abandons her. Girls are not as stupid as you think, they see riht through the facade you put up. I suggest getting your life on track and getting an education so that you have a real career when you are 30 flirty and thriving and can pull a just as good women, right now you are not fit to be a father or have a women in your life, because you are an insecure child acting like ur 14, how r u gonna raise a family ? and take care of a wife ? what you gonna saturate them with kigtropin ? Just see a psychologist, seriously u need it PS: how is your relationship with your dad ? (be honest) Great tips for the young one. Flinstones should read this every day. Flint, at your shoes I would start building your mind and self confidence, develop your personality and study things. Just observe getbig elite. Strong minded people with personalities and they don't play this macho bullshit-game. You might think that your physique is your biggest asset but it can really work against you. You know how general population think of muscular guys. Nothing positive really. I wish luck to your journey to be a real man.

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: How on earth could Ronnie ever beat Flex??

I've always thought Flex looked great in 1999. If I recall Flex was over 240+ lbs at the O which was huge increase in weight in one year. Flex could hold his own against Ronnie in certain poses but Big Ron was just way too much. When they hit rear lat spread everyone could see who's the champ.

2002 was a bad Olympia although there were almost 25 competitors. Only Kevin and Gunther came on. Cormier was off and still managed to get third because the level of top guys was low. Ronnie looked small and flat.
