26  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: How on earth could Ronnie ever beat Flex?? on: October 04, 2012, 04:45:46 AM
I've always thought Flex looked great in 1999. If I recall Flex was over 240+ lbs at the O which was huge increase in weight in one year. Flex could hold his own against Ronnie in certain poses but Big Ron was just way too much. When they hit rear lat spread everyone could see who's the champ.
27  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Phil getting dwarfed by a 200 lb jon bones jones at the expo on: October 01, 2012, 05:10:21 AM
I think Phil and Jon has a lot in common. They are at the top in their profession and both are considered "fake". They also try to please the fans and play the role of Mr. nice guy and failing doing so.
28  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Mr.O 02 vs. Mr.O 12 on: September 30, 2012, 09:48:03 AM
2002 was a bad Olympia although there were almost 25 competitors. Only Kevin and Gunther came on. Cormier was off and still managed to get third because the level of top guys was low. Ronnie looked small and flat.

Best set is 15x265 done in this year. 11 years of training.

Team natural liars.
30  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Ronnie recent interview.... on: September 27, 2012, 01:12:47 AM
watch it from 4:20

Is it possible to be a bodybuilder without drugs?

"Im living proof".

I think Ronnie was referring to winning his pro card natural.

Great interview although it's the same stories we've heard over the years many times.
31  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Rare legendary Ronnie Coleman pics on: September 08, 2012, 03:17:54 AM
Arnold, Lee, Dorian or Ronnie. With different arguments you could make a case for anyone of them being the best. Is Arnold best because he won six straight and came 5 years later and still won? Or is it Lee Haney winning eight and his last win being really impressive against tough line-up? Dorian's six straight with toughest overall competition and nearly perfect pro record? Or Ronnie being involved in two the most toughest Olympias(98, 99) and raising the bar physique wise?

I would rank them(by criteria being dominance, physique and level of competition).

1. Ronnie
2. Dorian
3. Arnold
4. Lee

32  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Old scan 2001 ronnie flex and kevlev on: September 08, 2012, 01:39:06 AM
2000 was by far the worst Olympia featuring most of the big names. Flex looked like he could fall asleep on the stage. Nasser had lost 20lbs of muscle in a year and was soft. Kevin looked good and Shawn had a respectable showing. Ronnie crushed everyone.
33  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Flex v Heath. Back shot on: August 31, 2012, 05:10:53 AM
Kind of like comparing Reeves to Arnold in their primes..........2 different eras!

I think modern era started in 1993. All those top guys from that time would be competitive today.
34  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Flex v Heath. Back shot on: August 30, 2012, 04:17:52 AM
So...... Basically flex only looked good one year 93??

Flex was second three times at the most toughest Olympia lineups ever. Only Dorian and Ronnie could handle him when he was on. In many ways Flex had bad luck. His carrier was very short. It took him time to get over the car accident(94) and when he did he only a couple of good years left and his kidneys started failing. Still he had magnificent carrier. Four Arnolds, three O runner-ups, 17 pro wins. Ninja's lost!!

In the end Phil will retire a multiple O winner and will be mentioned with Arnold, dorian, Ronnie, haney, Sergio, etc.... And flex will just be like serge....

It will be highly unlikely. Winning Olympia itself doesn't matter but who you beat. Even Haney's legacy suffers from that and he doesn't get recognition he deserves. I don't think this era will produce any legends.

Front&back double biceps are Phil's best poses by far. In that comparison they are pretty equal. In my opinion Flex's any top shape(93, 98, 99) is better than we've seen on Phil.

36  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Flex Wheeler untold stories by Chad Nicholls on: August 10, 2012, 07:04:10 AM
what is Flex Wheeler's Legacy?

I think people will remember him as a underachiever although he won 17 contest(four Arnolds & three 2nd places finishes at the O).

I've always thought he had bad luck. Car accident, ninja strike Grin and most of all competing against legendary conditions of Ronnie&Dorian 93, 98, 99.

I've always liked TA. Smart man and gentleman. The guy has brought us plenty of entertainment, shared his wisdom and he's a true bodybuilder too. 112x225 baby.

Special probs to Vince Goodrum. Always reminds me of "don't judge book by its cover". He has owned plenty of people and endured a lot of shit and he's still here!

39  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: HEY EVERYBODY! COME WATCH SUCKMYMUSCLE'S DEATH ON GETBIG - OWNING OF THE CENTURY on: May 09, 2012, 02:29:35 PM
Oh man.. these are great stories. Lt-Col(at his age must be record in the army), 600+ bench, iq 180+.
40  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Top 3 overrated bodybuilders on: May 05, 2012, 09:18:03 AM
Kevin Levrone underrated? I quess everyone is underrated then... The guy was a star his whole career and he's not forgotten. All the big names of 90s are not underrated. You could make a case of Chris Cormier but then again he excelled only in one ocation and got beat by the same guys year after year.

41  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: how many times have you benched 225? on: April 29, 2012, 04:29:43 AM
just the other day i did 30 with two wheels aside. I'm 5'9" 210 lb, i don't know if Thad be considered good or not. Huh

Come on man. Your username is "naturalbodybuilder" and you can do 30reps with two plates. Are those kind of naturals so common in your gym that you're not sure if that is impressive or not.
42  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Roulette on: April 28, 2012, 03:40:56 AM
Fellows, I've just figured out some revolutionary new roulette systems! You bet either on 1-18, plus the 2nd 12 and 3rd 12, or 19-36, plus the 1st 12 and 2nd 12. You alternate between these two options.

I just want you to see that everything comes down to same old 97.3%. Lets say we put 1$ to those you mentioned so in total 3$/round.

You would win 2$ if it comes to first twelve numbers. You would win 5$ dollars if 13-18. 3$ 19-36.

So in total 2x12+5x6+3x18=108 There are 37 numbers in roulette. 3x37=111

People are greedy by nature so you can imagine there has been a lot of people in 500 years of roulette's history who have tried to beat those odds. The numbers and colors on the board are just an illusion that people would think they have a choice.

43  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Roulette - has anyone cracked the code? on: April 27, 2012, 04:04:11 PM
Obviously you've been suckered by the casinos into thinking that. The house edge is why you need brains to beat the system.

I know I can't change your point of view. Truth is however you can't mathematically explain a system that would turn profit because there is none. As been said the game is rigged from the get go.

I hope you won't lose any more money. All the best!

44  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Roulette - has anyone cracked the code? on: April 27, 2012, 01:56:06 PM
Jon. You can't change the 97.3% expected payout. So any system you use it'll always come down to negative expectations.

Sure you can make short term wins like using the martingale system or making single bet of 3500$ to win 100$ with 94.6% chance of winning(totally insane) but the fundamentals will stay. You can't win.
45  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Roulette - has anyone cracked the code? on: April 25, 2012, 10:18:38 AM
Casino's really need guys like Jon, people who have huge desire to win. They want you think that you can outsmart them by figuring out a system that works against them. You can't change the principles the games are based on.
46  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: For the people who keep comparing Heath to COLEMAN on: March 25, 2012, 09:15:39 AM
Many always think that current champion is best ever because they don't know the history of the sport.
47  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Insane pic: Coleman busting out a most muscular on: March 25, 2012, 05:45:13 AM
Dennis is (at least) 8-times Mr. Tank-top Olympia

and that shot is from the video you all should have seen(unbelievable)
48  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: 100% Natural? on: March 11, 2012, 01:05:58 PM
second pic no chance  Undecided

I think he has great delts for natural but there really isn't anything else mind blowing.

49  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: on a scale of 1 to 10, how good or bad are your genetics? on: March 10, 2012, 06:23:10 AM
I'm happy with what I can accomplish natural so yeah I think my genetics are good.

Good bodyparts: chest, arms, legs
Weak bodyparts: shoulders, back

I've good overall strenght and never had joint pains. I try to do something for my back and side delts in every workout. Volume is the key when training natural.
50  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: phil heath looking small as usual on: March 10, 2012, 03:32:56 AM
Yet flex besides 93 was a overrated oil bag with ZERO olympias and Phil will go on to win multiples and be mentioned as one of the best...

I've said this years. The title itself doesn't mean anything but who you beat to win it. Even a guy with 8 Mr. Olympias Lee Haney doesn't get the recognition he deserves because the competition wasn't that tough in the 80s... and Lee had personality.

This year it'll be 15 years that Dorian won his last title. He's still the man because he won the title from the best guys in history.

In my eyes Flex has accomplished so much more than Phil. He was second in three the most toughest Olympias in history(99, 98, 93).
