I guess tattoos are not in anymore...
Wait... have you seen what many bodybuilders have now... whoa.... tattoos....
Like it or not, Flex Wheeler at his topmost physique was of of the best bodybuilders in the world.
The problem of lot of fans have with Flex is not his career physique, but the abuse he's put his body through after retiring, especially with a borrowed kidney. Not cool. Looked great in the day, though. And tats are fine, but crap tats like that are embarrassing. Look like my 6 year old drew them on him.

Yeah, Shockmaster is way up there on my list, along with Repo Man and Saba Simba.
My least favorite of all time, though, has to be Dusty Rhodes in the black and yellow polka dots with Sapphire. I'm surprised he didn't just light VKM on fire when he found out that was going to be his gimmick.

His comments were something to the effect that, "queering doesn't make the world work." Yeah, he was getting pretty regular invites before that to campuses, but it all seemed to stop cold after that little incident. What I never understand is his opinion of himself in the business seems pretty high, yet I have never gotten the impression that he had any love for the business. In his shoot interview, it sounded like it was all business, no exultation in reaching the pinnacle apart from the paycheck. What a sad way to spend one's life. Although I will say I respected his comments about Randy Savage last week- those were pretty classy.

Yeah, that wasn't a piledriver, or a powerbomb. Look, I like Warrior, if only for nostalgia's sake, but he sold nothing, and didn't take bumps often, if at all. I enjoy Warrior's site and rants, but that guy is the biggest mark for himself I've ever seen. Worse than HTM.

I think part of Cena's appeal is his activities outside the ring- guy does a ton of charity work. Whenever anyone badmouths the business or talks about how destructive it is, Cena comes off as clean, a lot like Sting in that respect. I'm not a fan of the Cena character, but he's the biggest face at the moment when true faces and heels are rare.
And I doubt Cena will ever get into the same universe as Hogan as far as lasting popularity. I'm not sure who'd I'd compare him to from yesteryear. Any ideas?

I heard a story years ago about when Scotty first got going in the business. There was an angle where he was supposed to go to ringside for a taping with a black eye, having been jumped outside the ring. The crew had makeup ready to go, but Scotty told Rick to hit him instead. Rick hammered him, and he earned a legit tough guy rep immediately. Also, I remember stories that if a wrestler botched a Steiner spot, notably the Frankensteiner, Scott and Rick would legit work him for a few minutes with potatoes to punish him for it. Fun guy to watch, to I'd give him a VERY wide berth.

From Jim Ross's Twitter:
"@meesh282 There are no plans at this time for me to go back to weekly announcing. Things could always change."
It must be frustrating for Vince, grooming play-by-play guys for years, and yet JR continues to make the save. Of course, I don't think anyone will ever beat Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura, IMO.
