We are asking for the real members of GetBig (No Gimmicks or new accounts with less than 1,000 posts - unless they are proven members with solid contributions) to cast their votes and decide who will leave GetBig forever.

This thread will stand for 2 days. Today is Tuesday, June 18, 2013. It will stand until Wednesday, June 19 at 6 pm (eastern time).

At the end, once the thread is closed from votes, I will gladly have my fellow moderators (Princess L, Grant, Chaos, Butterbean etc) count the votes and determine the one to leave. They can decipher the difference between real members and simply gimmick accounts and come to a conclusion.

Upon their tally up, whomever gets the most votes will then leave the site forever, no questions asked.

The way it works: You simply post the name of the member you want to leave the site forever.

I have no qualms with this bet and I am a man of my word. If I get the most votes to leave, I will leave and not bother anyone regarding the issue or return under any other alias. If he gets the most votes to leave, he will do the same.

How about we do this...

We make a thread asking what member would the GetBig collective prefer to keep on this site (no gimmicks allowed, as we can trace IP's to any member's gimmicks). We give it a set expiration date (say a week) and then once it hits the 7-day mark, we close the thread, tally up the votes and see which member they prefer on this site.

If you win, I leave forever. If I win, you leave forever.

Strangely enough, you're the only member whose material I've ever had to remove from the G&O board.

I guess I am bias in that I see what are clearly hate-filled posts versus simple attempts at humor.

Also, if you find a-ahmed's material offensive, complain to the moderators in charge of that board. We have designated boards to moderate and that is not my board and thus have no privilege there.

We do. That's why we are moderators. Members complain, we look into the complaint and if we deem it worthy of removal, we do just that.


GetBig is about many things and bodybuilding is not the only thing we speak of. What we don't want is just hate after hate-filled threads with no humor. Besides, if a thread offends a few members and has nothing of relevance for this site, it gets removed.


If a member muslim or not, starts to condemn other religions in a derogatory fashion, then their material will be removed if someone complains about it.
