Ok...I'm not sure how this guy wants me to answer this shit.

Bro...I "support" (which isn't even a real thing) all the good initiatives like trying to increase Min wage, killing terrorists, and legalizing weed.

Don't support the healthcare bill, or the fact that wall street guys still have their dicks in the mouth of Americans

So there is no singular "agenda" bro....

And what form of "support" are you talking about....

Like the horse shit "support our troop" dumb ass yellow magnet ribbon on a car?

Ok coach. Its like this. No one is all one thing... if you are... you're a fuckin idiot.

There are guys we vote for because we like him better than the other guy. That doesn't mean people are going to agree with everything he does. Again, anyone that does that is a fuckin moron.
And a bad decision doesn't totally discount the good decisions and progress

That's the only way I can explain it with out insulting you.
53  Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: Honest question for the progressives on: March 12, 2014, 08:35:58 AM
complete dishonesty.

"They have weapons of mass destruction in Iraq!"

That kind of dishonesty?

Fine she can do what she wants...when it begins to cost me money, then I will have an official issue. Now its just an opinion.

fully agree with this. This is for right and left. when shit costs me money, it better damn well be worth it.

That Treaty was modified less than a decade later, with that quote taken out. And lost in all of this is the Treaty had to do with dealing with Muslim pirates in the region, not the foundation of the country.

So George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin are not regarded as our founding fathers?

"No you cant use birth control"

NO ONE SAYS THIS.  THEY ONLY SAY WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSES BIRTH CONTROL

"we tell you who to love and who not to love"

NO ONE SAYS THIS.  THEY ONLY HAVE A DIFFERENT INTERPRETATION OF WHO SOMEONE CAN LEGALLY MARRY.  and polygamous marriages are not universally accepted by liberals as gay marriage is not universally accepted by conservatives.  so everyone has an opinion.

"christian prayer only"

WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU GET THIS?Huh

Ok...change birth control to abortion....and yes.. the republican platform is anti choice

and change love to Marry. What business is it of the government to say who can and cant get married

and you do know that our country was founded on a freedom from religious law and the church of england and a promotion of logical law of man.

The Treaty of Tripoli, passed by the U.S. Senate in 1797, read in part: "The government of the United States is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion." The treaty was written during the Washington administration, and sent to the Senate during the Adams administration. It was read aloud to the Senate, and each Senator received a printed copy. This was the 339th time that a recorded vote was required by the Senate, but only the third time a vote was unanimous (the next time was to honor George Washington). There is no record of any debate or dissension on the treaty. It was reprinted in full in three newspapers - two in Philadelphia, one in New York City. There is no record of public outcry or complaint in subsequent editions of the papers

James Madison, fourth president and father of the Constitution, was not religious in any conventional sense. "Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise."
"During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What have been its fruits? More or less in all places, pride and indolence in the Clergy, ignorance and servility in the laity, in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution."

The Madisons by Virginia Moore, P. 43 (1979, McGraw-Hill Co. New York, NY) quoting a letter by JM to William Bradford April 1, 1774, and James Madison, A Biography in his Own Words, edited by Joseph Gardner, p. 93, (1974, Newsweek, New York, NY) Quoting Memorial and Remonstrance against Religious Assessments by JM, June 1785.

Gee, a nation with Judeo-Christian traditions wanting to have Judeo-Christian prayers. Who'd thunk it?

George Washington, the first president of the United States, never declared himself a Christian according to contemporary reports or in any of his voluminous correspondence. Washington Championed the cause of freedom from religious intolerance and compulsion. When John Murray (a universalist who denied the existence of hell) was invited to become an army chaplain, the other chaplains petitioned Washington for his dismissal. Instead, Washington gave him the appointment. On his deathbed, Washinton uttered no words of a religious nature and did not call for a clergyman to be in attendance.

Who's telling people they can't use birth control. You can use it all you want; but YOU pay for it.

You can love anybody you want; but an entire state doesn't need to recognize it as a marriage. Otherwise, you'd have to recognize people like Rogers.

Gee, a nation with Judeo-Christian traditions wanting to have Judeo-Christian prayers. Who'd thunk it?

"Abortion should be illegal, screw Rowe vs Wade"

Thing about Rummy and I guess Cheney...these guys worked at the top for a loooong time. They were around for years....your head gets very swollen. Rummy had people telling them what to do in Iraq and they listened to the neocon guys who had their own group of Iraqi's and experts who read everything wrong. Iraq was something that could have gone right from the outset and it went off the rails over a handful of band decisions. Bush learned very quickly who to trust and it still took years to get that shit to a low boil.

In your opinion (no burn at all) how do you think Iraq should have been handled as far as post invasion?

Looking at the two....Cheney was just cold and calculating...Rummy had no reason to be a prick but he was hated at the Pentagon. They sure as shit knew how to kick the hell out of a country but zero plan to keep Iraq from falling apart. They had history to look to. We didn't get rid of the German police...hell even their MP's were kept on in uniform. We fired everybody in Iraq...even when the Iraqi generals were ready to make deals.

Thats more accurate. Cheney was machiavellian in his approach and actions. Rummy wanted to be more important than he was and he made hasty decisions and Bush (like most leaders) listen to their advisors, and he was advised wrong.

Its easy to say "Bush is the devil" but really, he was a guy who had religious convictions and i dont fault him for that. He also had a VP and A Sec of Defense that took advantage of him.

You know...its not just Obama...the whole team are retards. Does anybody in Bush's team strike u as a retard...u may not like them but they aren't stupid. Holder...who I hate is the only one who is not a retard. he knows exactly how he's usurping constitutional rights.

Bush seemed to be the comedy releif in a world going to shit. I respected Bush. He didnt seem like he took himself to seriously.
Dick was an asshole tho.
Rummy was an equal asshole
Rice was just happy to be there

And obama..."How dare this knee-grow", is the underlying problem
