Was his hand actually on the trigger, is that how it fired? He pulled the trigger randomly, not thinking there'd be a bullet in it? Or did it just go off in an unexpected manner without any touch to the trigger?
Either way, in this case, he was negligent to not realize there was a bullet in the gun, ESPECIALLY if he (accidentally?) pulled the trigger while the gun was aimed at his son.
Guns don't kill people... people kill people by using guns.

I don't see the knowledge in Uberman. What I see is a single mindedness and a huge problem with being prejudicial and jumping to conclusions about people he doesn't actually know. If he had a varied opinion and more of an open mind about things, I might find him easier to take.
Maybe but IMO there is often some truth to stereotypes.

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: diabetes is just sitting around on sugars

I'm skinny as a rake (pure ectomorph) and any fat or sugar pretty much goes right through me. Could I still be at risk of type 2 diabetes? I try to lower the sugars but with willpower of absolute shit, my diet ends up being full of them some days.
Anyway, main thing is for people to cut the sugars down to a minimum if you want to help prevent or even cure type 2 diabetes. Good post by andreisdaman. Always read labels for the ingredients %... if it's sugar, it's sugar.

I don't understand why people should respect the Royal Family just because they are named as such. Respect is deserved on a one-to-one basis. Get to know someone (to your best judgement) before you respect them.
Personally, I have no respect for the Queen or Prince Charles. William is about the only one I have some vague respect for because he's Diana's blood. Harry seems OK too.

... the lad is doing better, slowly recuperating. All internet bullshit aside, he is a human being loved by his family and deserves life and recovery like any of us.
Let me know if you have any questions; it's not serious unless you make it to be and life goes on.
Are you suggesting his recent hospitalization was not serious? If so, I disagree with that, sir. Life is as serious as you make it but his life will be over unless he starts to see those things as serious.

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: What's the worst experience you ever had training ??

The best one I ever saw was in my garage. me and my boy were doing dips off the bench, feet on a chair with a curling bar loaded with weight across our legs.
My buddy for some reason, puts ONE foot down at the end of his set. the bar tips one way, drops the weights off, shoots back up the other way and slams into the side of his head, opens up a gash and knocks him out cold.
Ouch... Not sure what the worst experience I've had is... never had any very serious injuries from training, thankfully.

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: is having a home gym as sweet as it gets?

Yes and no. Its easy access, but at the same time, some days you want to just feel that energy and vibe of a gym
For sure. I generally love the atmosphere of a gym... I'm there, ready to workout, got all this equipment, etc... one thing that sort of bugs me (but is perfectly understandable) is when a gym is really crowded and the piece of equipment that I want to use is constantly taken. Working out at home doesn't pose that proble. I like working out when there's maybe just a few people there.

i dont know much about it
average street fights have a high probability of permanent disfigurements like broken teeth, skull damage, scars across the face from broken bottles
all these things are avoided in mma with safety procautions
but they punch and kick really hard
if an unprepared bodybuilder gets hit in the head by them
he may suffer severe brain damage
All very good points. Judging by those couple of pics of Dan, he's training with some MMA-type fighters.
