2002 Night Of Champions, the famous one with oilbag Ruhl looking his best and freaky ever... The lighting was phenomenal, they all looked great...

Sorry, I read it wrong. Yeah, the 2002 NOC  lighting was pretty good.

4  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: If Heath wins 9 or 10 Mr Olympias, would he be the best of all time? on: April 18, 2014, 03:42:30 PM
He could win 10, but that would probably make him the best bodybuilder record wise, but he won't be the best bodybuilder physique wise.
5  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: The most dominant Mr. Olympia of all time - hands down!! on: April 18, 2014, 01:01:36 PM
Any opinions change when upper bodies are switched...

Yates upper body with Ronnie's lower body actually looks more complete & balanced because of Ronnie's hams/quads & glutes. While Ronnie's upper body with Yates lower body looks top heavy and too smooth from the waist down. That's why I always have Ronnie winning the RLS against Dorian. We can argue forever on who's back is better, but no one can argue over who's hams/quads & glutes are better from the back and Dorian's calves don't make up for it.

DOMINANT Huh  NO WAY ! That year you had a lot of classic physiques on stage and even Flex Wheeler in his first try taking second place almost winning the whole thing in first attempt ! at the end of the day it was more like apples and oranges ..

With Ronnie ...while he was flexing onstage you had the ENTIRE competition  backstage, watching his routine on a monitor, jaw dropped hoping they could take 2nd place.

That's how DOMINANT Ronnie was.

Yip Yip

WoooSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH

Yeah buddyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

Best lighting, only the 2002 NOC is comparable, as far as i remember...

2002 GNC had great lighting? From the pics I've seen, the lighting was just ok.

1999 British Grand Prix - DVD PICS!!!

Here are some DVD pics of the introductions to all of the bodybuilders that took part at the 1999 British Grand Prix. This line up was full of some of the best talent of the 1990's. Chris Cormier, Shawn Ray and Paul Dillett did not compete. Does anyone know why Shawn never competed in the European Tour?

heath has come a long way ,dex was bigger than him at one time.

He has. I remember for a few years Phil would always be chasing Dexter, but always get out sized by him. Now the tables have turned.

2007 Arnold Classic Prejudging PICS!!! Victor, Dexter, Phil & Freeman!!!

What a line up. This was Victor's first Arnold Classic win in his career. He dominated the contest from all angles with his combination of great proportions and conditioning. Victor Martinez beat out Dexter Jackson the defending 2006 Arnold Classic champion. While Toney Freeman came in third place, Gustavo Badell in fourth and Phil Heath in fifth.

Note: Victor went on to place second later in the year at the 2007 Mr. Olympia where most people think he should of won. Dexter Jackson went on to become the 2008 Mr. Olympia. Also, this was the last time Phil Heath lost to Victor Martinez, Toney Freeman and Gustavo Badell.

Dillets bdb was very shitty for a Hebrew Probodybuilder. He doesnt have the definition to compete with the top guys.

Imagine Dillet with Coleman's back? The amount of sandow's he would of won lol.
13  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Dillett 1996 Arnold Classic on: April 13, 2014, 04:42:15 PM
From a career perspective, Dillett's back was rubbish.  It was very much lacking in both width and detail when compared to that of virtually any other top pro.  Frankly, for all of the abuse Nasser took for his back, I would suggest that on most occassions, Nasser had a back superior to Dillett's.

I agree. Nasser had a better back than Dillett in my opinion.
14  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Yates 96 German Gran Prix on: April 13, 2014, 04:34:58 PM

i think in this show he presented his best condition but in mr. olympia 95 and 93 he was fuller..

I agree. I like his 1993 physique best because both of his arms never looked better and his physique had great flow to it while still being in amazing condition and being full.
15  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Dillett 1996 Arnold Classic on: April 13, 2014, 11:27:26 AM
1993 Ironman Pro is where his posing was his best and his back never looked better.
16  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Kai goes psycho on phil (kai vs phil video) on: April 12, 2014, 04:34:41 PM
I had Kai winning this contest. For some reason for the past few years Phil has only been able to peak once a year and then clearly miss his mark for any other contests afterwards. Then again peaking once a year at the Mr. Olympia is what people will always remember.
17  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Yates 96 German Gran Prix on: April 11, 2014, 09:36:49 PM
If he had better arms then I would rate that physique as the best of all - time.

21  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Dorian Yates vs. Ronnie Coleman - who was better? on: April 10, 2014, 09:44:01 PM
somewhat agree on the thin skin thing... but there was more to it than just that. His musculature had that rock hard, layered on concrete look without a hint of water or fat anywhere. Even at ronnies dryest, even with his thinnest skin, you could detect a marshmellowy quality to his musculature that you just didnt see on Dorian.

You could say the same for Dorian as well. In some poses Dorian doesn't have that grainy rock hard look and actually doesn't look dry to the bone in poses such as FDB, FLS & SC. The rest of the poses his conditioning looked great. The only poses where Ronnie wasn't shredded were the ST & AB&T. Every other pose Ronnie was dry, separated and striated top to bottom.

Here are comparisons of the three poses I mentioned above that Dorian's great conditioning doesn't seem to be showing for some reason.

WHAT a side chest on Samir hit it like Arnold, hands on hips mm was great on him too...

In my opinion that side chest is close to perfect. Just a little bigger hams and that's it.

He looked like he wasn't walking good last night on Raw.

I noticed that as well.

R.I.P. Ultimate Warrior. He was one of my favourite wrestlers as a kid.
